"I think it is easyer to deal with overspray now, rather than after the bare-metal finish" This went right into my notebook. I'm way too inexperienced in modeling to even think about bare-metal finish, but the day will come I'll have to take that bull by the horns. Fingers crossed that I'll remember to flip through my notebook before I start 😁 Top video as always mate.

Great airbrushing, Metodi. The MiG metal finish is always so tricky. The machines either look like a dump truck or clean as a sports car. No in-betweens. Looking forward to the next video.

I am enjoying this build. Your airbrush seems very fine for jobs like spraying the gloss black. I use a similar fine airbrush, but I think I would like one more 'basic', or with a larger tip, for wide areas, clear coats and so on.

That file you used on the landing gear has to be the smallest file I have ever seen. I could use one that small for quite a number of tasks. Well done on the metal finish. Very nice!

Great timing, my next build is an early F-105D in bare aluminum. I must say this looks great now, do like the paneling and heads up tot wait a day between painting rounds.

Once you get the right recipe it becomes easy. I repeat the same thing more or less... adding some experimental touches every time.

As usual a great video One question : although the ak extreme métal aluminium is rock solid I do not have this experience with the polished aluminium. This paint is great but I had trouble using masking tape without previous layer of varnish. How did you manage to do so?

Thanks, I don't know to be fair. Maybe that I use laquer base allows the metalizer to bond better to it.
