I remember my childhood days watching the movies on Sunday in neighbours house and was scared of Mr Nambiyar I used to think he is the only villian if MGR is hero ...when I grow up my father used to say he was a gentleman but never could believe this ...but this interview proves he is a such a gem of person ...thanks for the upload .

I love this interview. You wouldn’t believe that I have watched more than 8 times.. I love Mr.Nambiar’s discipline, simplicity, calmness, honesty and humble nature. I don’t think many good people are left these days.

What a great soul. Villain in movies but an absolute hero in real life. A pure vegetarian (lived to the meaning of it) and an amazing Aiyappa Devotee. I was so lucky to have known him personally. My dad was a great friend of him (in fact my father is there in all the pictures from Nawab Rajamanikkam Party) for over 70 years (from Nawab Rajamanikam period). He and his wife have helped so many people without anyone knowing about it (and sometimes even the one who got helped did not know about it). Please buy and read the book (about M.N. Nambiar) by his grandson Dipak Nambiar.

My father (late)S.M.KUMARESAN is from strickt decipline gurugulam Nawab Rajamanikam Pillai company student of many years experience with all activities he learn from Guruji particularely many purana dramas he did as hero when he left the company age of 17 in 1947 then he was selected as Hero in Jupitor films "ABHIMANYU" as hero Abhimanyu act his first film. the story diologue written by (Late)SHRI. M.Karunanidhi and also known actors as (late)SHRI. M.G. Ramachandran act as ARJUNA, and (late) SHRI.M.G. CHAKRABANI and also as villain (late)SHRI.M.N. NAMBIAR, (late) Shri.Pulimoottai Ramasamy, Late. Shri.Sahasranamam, heroin (late)Shrimathi.U.R.Jeevaraththinam etc., etc., Abhimanyu was released in 1948 and more than 3 years all over Tamilnadu with a great success. After this film my father produced vanavil a tamil film with (late)Shri.Sivaji Ganesan and Saroja Devi and but unfortunately Mme.SarojaDevi left middle of film to America with her husband. And the film was stopped due to heroin? then my father helped making dramas for old congress party of India in many places in Tamilnadu then many great politicians offered him to join in politics their parties but he refused because he was interested only in Drama Theaters. He started from 60ths to untill 1977, he died on stage he was acting as Lord Murugan in "Valli thirumanam" nadagam near madurai. He was very well known experienced hero for velan vedan viruththan and also debats in drama vallithirumanam. Tamil dramas (Theaters) as hero always in "Valli Thirumanam" , Sathyavaan Savithri, Pavazhakodi , Harichandra mayana gandam etc., Madhurai and regions for many months a year. But today these Purana Dramas are dying in Tamilnadu due to vulgared TV shows and other western entertainements....??? About (late)Shri.Nambiar asan my father always used to meet him b'cause of they learned same Guru (Late)Shri.Rajamanikkam Pillai. This cannot regret that OLD IS GOLD. very good memories for us.
