Күн бұрынWell, what a shock to see this truck! I was confident that all our diesel ASL’s had been shipped out, but I guess not! A rear loader usually does this route, so I think it’s safe to say this is a last resort spare (and rightfully so.) A similar truck used to collect my recycling when I had WM, so it was good to see our Python’s one last time. Thanks to the driver for being kind enough to let me film.

Waste Management, this video was for entertainment, not intended to get the driver(s) in trouble. If there is anything wrong with this video, correct the driver(s) rather than punishing them, so they don’t make the same mistake in the future. I do not want any drivers to be punished because of what I am doing.

WOW! This has been my most awaited video from you. This brings back so many great memories from when I was younger! My recycling driver a long time ago let me operate his truck he also had a Mack LEU Python, I was in Pre-School at the time. I wish they had more since they only have 2 and 1 scrap one. But at least they are going to other yards instead of all being scrapped. Overall great video and awesome job as always, definitely my favorite video from you!

Awesome video! What a rusty and crusty truck lol. I think its about time for it to go, surprised it didn't stall or even fall apart when on its route! The solid, wet, compacted grass in the containers made for pretty entertaining dumping cycles, with the spillage and the clanking noises when the driver shook the arm. Even without that, its always fun to see Pythons on greenwaste. Do you think this truck will go to a different yard or get scrapped? Still a great find!

+SoCalGarbageTrucks Thank you! Yeah, I had thought the same while filming it! It was very fun to watch. We had around 15 of these Pythons before we went CNG, and the majority were sent to other yards, but I've seen a few trucks in similar condition to this one for sale. So, if I had to guess it'll probably be scrapped otherwise it'd be sent to a different yard by now. Thank you for commenting!

Nice video!! Awesome that they run this on a route with manual bins and extras! I loved how the driver lid flipped too. Is WM switching green waste routes from RLs to ASLs or are you guys getting new RLs too? Truck sounded amazing too, loved that about those old Macks!

+WMmaster626 Thank you! Yeah, it was fun to watch. This was actually a spare for a CNG ACX McNeilus Rear Loader, (we got a few when we got our ACX ZR's last spring) so I don't think they're switching anything. Rear load and drop frame side loaders seem to work best for yard waste around here, with all the extras that people can set out. That was definitely a sound I miss hearing!
