I’m always so frustrated by netizens bashing on this performance saying it was emotional manipulation and a sob story. At this point, Pentagon didn’t care about the competition because they only wanted to make this the greatest stage and send-off for Jinho. Their love for Jinho overruled the competition. If that’s not passion, I dunno what is. And the fact that they pulled it off so well and so cohesively is beyond me. I just wish people could appreciate Pentagon’s artistry fully.

다들 보플에서 여기로 많이 넘어왔네ㅠㅠ 진짜 후이의 도전과 멋진 무대 하나가 정말 많은 변화를 일으킨것 같다....무관심을 관심으로 돌리는데 정말 그 짧은 무대 몇초가 돌풍을 일으켰네. 그만큼 후이의 존재감이나 매력이 대단하단걸 느꼈다 그저 평범한 아이돌이였다면 다른 결과 였을수도 있었겠지만 후이는 다르지.....셧다운 무대하나로 많은 사람들이 이회택과 펜타곤에 관심을 가지게 됬다. 이거 하나만으로 펜타곤내의 후이의 존재감이 얼마나 대단한지 느꼈다. 저렇게 8년이란 긴 시간동안 팀을 이끌어 왔겠지..... 입대전 큐브소속 직원분들이 후이에 대해 얘기하는 영상을 봤다. 후이를 표현하는 모든 문장들이 보플에 나온 이회택과 너무 일치가 되서 존경하고 대단하고 멋지다는 생각을 했다.

They sacrificed giving a possibly "weaker" performance at the risk of the competition, just to give a proper send-off to Jinho and I think that just shows that they're a REAL FAMILY. Kino's face when he left Jinho on stage alone :( I know Kino is trying his best not to cry at that time even if he looks really sad. That's the time when my tears started to fall and then Hui burst into tears and was having a hard time to breathe, damn I can't do this anymore it stings a lot. I started crying like a baby. But then, I'm happy to see that they have prepared so much for Jinho, they're a true family! It only shows as well how they respect and loved him very much and I love how Jinho held Hui's face saying "don't cry" in korean huhuhu it so precious. I'm really frustrated that Pentagon didn't get the chance to shine again.. They are SO talented, even if you don't know them just by this performance you can see it. I'm frustrated that Jinho has to enlist without being recognized as a wonrderful vocalist (Hui and him are for me the best male vocalist of this generation)... I hope him and Pentagon will come back stronger in the future. That's why this industry may be really painful, for the artist and even for the fans, seeing talent go away without recognition really hurts.

Jinho has been chasing after his dream of becoming a singer ever since he was a kid. He trained for 8 years in total. He promoted in a special unit with Super Junior's Kyuhyun, SHINee's Jonghyun, and TRAX's Jay as a trainee almost 10 years ago but that company didn't let him debut. He eventually left after 6 years and had given up on becoming a singer to become a vocal trainer until his current company asked him to audition instead. He gave it one last try and trained for another 2 years before his debut in Pentagon. All the other members of Pentagon really respect Jinho for his singing skills and him as a person since he is the reliable oldest hyung. Despite his cute looks, he is the toughest member. The younger members often go to him for advice. Jinho loves to sing and always looks the happiest on stage so this was really the best gift Pentagon could give to Jinho before sending him off to the military. *Jinho is currently fulfilling his mandatory military service. He will return in November 2021.

His smile is sadder than if he was crying. It's so sad.

후이 진짜 서럽게 운다... 보이즈 플래닛 때문에 후이의 이야기를 알게 된 건데 군 복무하자마자 보이즈 플래닛 나갈 결심을 하기까지 얼마나 많은 고민을 했고 어떤 기분이었을지 감히 내가 상상할 수도 없음...

아 근데 저렇게 오열할만한게 이게 마지막 완전체활동일수도 있잖아.... 이미 5년 활동했고 진호 나온다해도 다른 멤버들도 군대갈거고 펜타곤이 재개약할지도 불분명한 상황인데 진짜 오열할만하지,,,,

Regardless of the result, this performance is *TOP TIER.* This is what performing is all about. Not about how flashy you can make your choreography and not about how high of a note you can reach. If you're able to connect all of the viewers into your own bubble of a performance and put a smile on their faces, that's what it's all about. Pentagon made all 7 groups present feel united, and I think that's so special.

모두가 그렇듯 속사정 모르는 남들은 괜찮다고 하지만 당사자가 이제 힘들다고 직감하는 순간이 온다. 한순간에 찾아오는 감정이지만 서서히 지배하고 잠식하기 때문에 그 과정동안 노력해도 점차 안된다는 걸 알고 좌절할 수 밖에 없는 그 감정은 어느 누구도 이해할 수 없다. 찾고 찾아서 간 곳이 서바이벌 프로그램이었을 것이고 모든 자존심을 다 내려놓고도 갈 수 밖에 없는 간절함이 더 컸을 거다. 나도 이런 순간을 경험했기 때문에 후이라는 사람이 선택한 것이 얼마나 큰 결심이었을지 알고 있다. 지금은 분명 힘들겠지만 언젠가는 빛나리라는 것을 마음 속에 굳건하게 새기고 나아갔으면 좋겠다. 이걸로 후이라는 사람을 응원하게 되었고 계속 응원하고 싶다.

I can't get over Jinho held and wiped Hui's tears. While Hui was singing the lyrics there was Jinho holding back his tears. Then when they were walking closer to Jinho he held Hui's cheeks and wiped off his tears and said ‛stop’ or ‘stop crying’ we can never forget an amazing and thoughtful hyung we had. 3년전 영상에 다들 같은 마음으로 봄이 오길 바라면서 온거ㅠㅠ

이거 본방보다 울었던 기억이 있음 원래 펜타곤에 관심이 있기도 했고 엠넷 경연을 자주 찾아봤어서 펜타곤 보려고 봤었는데 솔직히 얘네 이렇게 그냥 킹덤갔으면 떴을것 같음.. 애들 아이디어도 좋고 능력자들이라서... 솔직히 제일 아까웠음 다시 돌아와 얘들아 하이브야 돈 많으면 얘네 데려가 제발...

이거 진짜 너무 슬퍼… 팀 동료의 마지막이 될 수 있는 무대라는걸 인지하고 자신들을 알린 노래이자 전성기를 찍었던 노래의 무대를 하는것도 봄눈이라는 노래의 가사도 모든게 너무 슬프다ㅜㅜ

진호는 정말 오랜 슴덕이라면 아픈 손가락이지 않을까 싶음 소년천지 혹은 엑소로 데뷔할줄 알았는데 소년천지 무너지고 엑소 데뷔 멤버 떴는데 진호가 없었을때 그 심정은 참,,, 그 후로 보컬 트레이너 생활 하다가 큐브 들어가서 펜타곤으로 데뷔한건데 잘 풀리다 막혔으니 얼마나 힘들었을까 싶음 그리고 멤버들 ( 특히 후이 ) 우는거 보니까 진호가 펜타곤 안에서 큰 나무 역할을 하고 있구나 싶음,, 군대 잘 다녀오고 더 멋진 모습으로 만나자 진호야

they performed shine and im really sad because it’s such a special song to universe and pentagon. it gave them the recognition they deserved. that song alone makes my heart hurt a little because it brought them so far. watching them give jinho a stellar last stage was heartbreaking but im really proud of them. everything was beautiful. jinho, pentagon, universe, fighting !

솔직히 펜타곤 알고는 있었지만 어떤 음악을 했었는지 알지도 못했는데 포플에서 연생들이 빛나리 부르는데 후이가 우는모습보고 펜타곤 찾아보고 빛나리 데이지 봄눈 신토불이 청개구리 필린라이크 여기까지 오게됐네.. 알면 알수록 멤버들 모두 너무 사랑스럽고 무대에서 정말 즐기고 노는모습이 넘 이쁘고 좋아보이더라 늦덕했는데 펜타곤 앞으로 계속 활동해줬음 좋겠어 나처럼 너희 새롭게 알게되는 사람들 많을거야 진짜 음악 너무 좋아서 십년만에 아이돌 씨디도 샀다 암튼 너무 응원해 지금은 각자의 활동 하고있지만 다시 펜타곤으로 만나서 너희 무대 볼수있길 기도할게 펜타곤 꽃길만 걷자 !!!!

항상 이 무대 볼 때 마다 눈물 남 나도 왜 우는 지 모르겠는데 멤버들이 진호 군대 응원할 때 부터 진짜 눈물 줄줄 흘림 무대로 사람을 눈물흘리게 한다는 거 부터가 자기의 본업을 정말 잘 한다는거고 멋있는건데 펜타곤 더 뜰 수 있었는데 너무 아쉽다
