With these kinds of situations, I feel like K should have directly seriously discussed the position switch with sunghoon and jay alone in a room. Just so both could have deeply conversed about their thoughts and feelings towards this scenario. Yes, maybe K has a hard time bringing up certain things to members but this was an important matter for the ilanders sake. They have to learn how to not rely on other people when voicing your concerns or opinions out . I badly wanted to see jay n sunghoon having a 1 on 1 talk with K so they could've bluntly communicated with no heavy feelings in the air. And then discussed with the whole iland team about theiir decision. The Iland team still lacks in the communication aspect which is very vital in a future group.

I think with Jay the performance would have been swaggier and more impactful. But considering the time pressure, K made a good decision. Also watching made me anxious that Jays gonna sprain his ankle or smth. Sunghoon didn’t stood out much, but didn’t draw in negative attention either. He fit right in, for a solid and clean performance. Glad to see Jay being mature about it and not showing bad attitude, even though he must have been so disappointed.
