I think it's a problem of rookie bgs. As sad as it is, there are many who really look at groups if they are popular already or coming from big 4, especially last year. Rookie bgs got ton of hate for not performing as much as the rookie ggs. And it became a bandwagon hate. But most of the rookie bgs do not come from big 4 or were part of previous popular groups. I mean, rookie ggs really slayed last year. Tbh, TNX debut achieved a lot for a rookie bg both in physicals and digitals. The hype just began to slow when these bandwagon hate appeared and their cb was taking longer than what usual kpop fans expect. Also to me, Pnation should invest on making them go on places where the gp is than online variety shows because most of the time, only existing fans will hear about such (their variety shows are great by the way! they had "tnx for everyone" and was produced by the pd of going seventeen. i liked the concept of the show i thought more people should know about it too)

lowkey or vibey songs tend to go over the gp's heads, quite a risky thing to do for a rookie group

Yeah he's having symptoms of anxiety due to declining physical strength according to Pnation. But he was able to do all of the album preparation stuff like the mv and physical album photoshoots. Cant wait to witness the ot6 version of this but his health is the most important now
