Mark was right. Dream need to promote this song more! This song is NCT Dream. Groups fail when they chase “trends” and abandon their unique sound. Mark knows that, best leader.

I don't think following the trends will ever cause them to lose their way. They are NCT. In general, SM groups never lose their way and that's why they have longevity. Whether they follow trends or not. In this case, Mark was right. He mentioned in the meeting that because Smoothie was already outside their "zone," they should have something to sort of "stick" with their NCT Dream sound.

@@katgreer6113 the reason I brought up chasing trends is because the others were advocating for Box because they wanted catchy tiktok challenge. Mark was more concerned about Dream’s identity and artistry, whereas the other members were so pressed about having a dance challenge on tiktok, which is not even necessary because Dream’s most viral songs on tiktok like LISGO never even had tiktok challenges.

Honestly I wanted to see BOX performance by coupling stage. But after hearing Mark's appeal, my opinion changed and I was really looking forward to seeing UNKNOWN performance today. UNKOWN stage, Beyond my expectations it was amazing!!!!!!! I love that stage from beginning to the end. 노래도 좋고 가사도 좋고 춤도 좋고 ….완벽했어요 I want to say thank you from the bottom of my of my heart. I have to say despite the debate over picking Unknown as their b-side to promote this comeback, I was not expecting a choreography to accompany it but I’m so glad they picked this song. They usually do very strong, impactful or high energy, cheerful pop songs for their choreo so it’s rare for them to dance to a more emotional song like Unknown and I absolutely LOVE how pretty the choreo is. It really goes to show how NCT members despite their neo concept can really do any genre and I really, really hope NCTzens support this comeback so hard cause these boys deserve the world 😊❤
