ReviewL This is a fantastic comeback for a lineup of NCT U. Every member suits this concept. Taeyong. We all know who he is. A master performer and obviously the leader of the pack. His stage presence is out of this world and he completely loses himself when performing. He is relentless as the center and focus of their performances. Some say he may be over the top with his moves but that is all to heighten the energy of the performance in my opinion. A born performer. Killer beast. My #1 and most people's #1 pick for stage presence for a good reason. Doyoung. His vocals were ALL over this song which means finally FINALLY he is all over their performance in terms of screen time and choreography focus. Another great performer who in contrast to his sweet voice is a vocal powerhouse and commander of attention. His dancing has improved so much and I am so proud of him. Jaehyun. Another performer I can get behind. I think he may be my #2 for stage presence in Boss. Everyone knows he can dance. Everyone knows he can sing. Everyone knows he is a visual. But his stage presence NEEDS to be recognized. I think a concept like Boss suits him best. It's masculine, yet his smirks/smiles are playful and fun and engaging. He is also another member who commands attention and is completely immersed even when he is not the focus. He executes his moves with smoothness, flow in contrast to bursts of power. Interesting. Winwin. AH! Nothing can make up for his lost MV screen-time but the live performance was soooo good for him. Did you see the way he turned to face that camera and just casually stride amongst his dancing brothers? If that's not a true boss I don't KNOW what is. We should all appreciate Winwin. He is a talented and trained dancer. The fact that he has been able to switch from traditional dance to street/urban is amazing. It's so hard. Jungwoo. Hello new addition and congrats on your debut. Seems to be a well-rounded performer. His gentle voice was a hint that he would be comfortable in his higher range just like Doyoung. This dude can dance. Apparently he entered SM through the highly competitive Saturday auditions. Already a red flag at TALENT. In terms of stage presence, I can tell that it's his debut stage. He has the fire, and he did well to hold up against veteran members but he has more to show. Lucas. HE'S LOUD AND PROUD! Aggressive, in your face, tall, striking. His looks alone is presence in itself. He's the tallest of the bunch so he already stands out but it's how comfortable he is on stage. Debuting with Boss just makes sense. NCT Dream serve with amazing songs but the unit's concept is just not for this boy. He seems right at home on this stage. Mark. The ace. Anywhere, everywhere. Is there anything that this hard-working member cannot do? He brings a certain edge and grit to his dancing. He's powerful. He's a FIREBALL when executing moves. When he dances it's really another world. Not enough can be said about him, and he is a great maknae for this KILLER lineup. #NCT_U_BOSS is the best example of how NCT is made up of talented, well-rounded and focused individuals who bring an intensity to their performance. This choreo is good. Cannot wait to see more stages, and cannot wait for more of NCT.
