Leo: "Hey, Zoltan...how'd you like to show off your skills, flash your manly chest hair, AND basically be a dick to Gerhardt for 10 minutes?" Zoltan: "I'm in!" Gerhardt: "Wait...what?"

I'm here to share some backgrond for the not hungarian viewers. The style, that the trombone player (Zoltán Kiss) played, is what the hungarian musician gypsies does. Extreme emotions, and they let everybody knows, what they feels, and sometimes they are high-minded. Not so many people like thist temperature. But they don't care, because they play music far better, than anybody else. And that is a fact.

Being able to do that myself I'm not "that" impressed, it simply requires repetition and a fairly okay memory. They, however, memorize all the music for a show that is over an hour long near flawless. That does impress me.

Let‘s be honest, these guys are special. I.e., Thomas Gansch studied classical trumpet like his famous brother Hans and he was miserable. It’s only when he decided to go his own way and founded Mnozil Brass with a bunch of guys he played with to earn some money in the evenings that he really found his calling. Take away is, you can do what they did wherever you are. It just requires a bunch of guys with a good foundation, real love of all kinds of music, a sense of humor, playfulness and real dedication. That’s not that easy to find, that’s what makes them unique, but it’s not special to Europe.
