People are not perfect. Just because Oprah, Tyler Perry, and Lee Daniels have done a lot, doesn't mean they're perfect and it doesn't mean they are immune or should be immune to criticisms.

Loni, you always think before you say anything. You are an inspiration on that table. I'm glad you never lose sight of being in someone else's shoes. Mo is hurting and only you on that table understand that one must comment in context.

I agree with Monique and what Loni said is so true. First and foremost, Monique made that movie a hit. It was supposed to be some side project but became bigger than it was because of Monique. Secondly, Monique never held her tongue NEVER. That is what she’s known for . Being one of the Queens of comedy and being blunt. Thirdly, she always advocated for the underrated. She was always supportive so when she gets thrown under , she had every right to call them out. Adrienne never even came close to experience anything Monique experienced. She is surface leveled thinker. How does she advocate for cardi and her ratchet ways but shame Monique . I’m glad Loni stood her ground and got her together with the facts. Loni was there since day 1 and know exactly what she talking about. In at the end of the day, MONIQUE WAS PROVEN RIGHT. If you don’t know the full situation, don’t speak on it thinking you know what’s going on.

Disagree with the Monique situation. Why should she hold her peace and let it happen to the next person, and the next person after that. Change and progress don't happen when people remain quiet and accept their beatings. It happens when they make it heard. Just because people make more money than you and are more powerful doesn't mean you shouldn't speak up. That's been the problem in this country since the beginning: accepting the way people treat us as it just being the way it is and not even trying for better.

Wow! Just watched another interview with the lady of the issue and she spoke so beautifully about her upsets and so clearly. It seems that anyone whose livelihood has been affected by having boundaries and requirements in their career would be upset if their reputation was smired in their industry. I've worked with salesmen in auto dealerships and when someone is messing with their ability to make the amount they feel they should it always got ugly. Someone always was addressing the issues usually with management or even corporate as well! This seems no different to me. Except that if every car dealership in the nation now knew one sales associate as being considered difficult to work with because they wouldn't agree to one dealerships terms because it didn't work well for the sales associate. In persecptive, it's pretty upsetting and super understandable even if it was years ago! If they're still being affected by it and their ability to make a livelihood over it, it's really understandable that they'd be upset.

I disliked this video because I do not feel that the panel did their job and kept the conversation real. They just tried to skirt over the issue and sweep it under the rug. I know this is a past discussion but the heat is brewing again on the Tyler beef with MO. Here’s the deal, Monique is very hurt because she thought because the “powers that be” were Black that they had her back. When they didn’t, it really broke her. She needs to get counseling to work through her hurt. When people come back to you to try and resolve it (which Ty and Oprah did), you have to meet them halfway. That way she can move forward and be successful and maybe even work with them again with Boundaries set. But, she refused the apology (told people to kiss her a%#) and just kept the drama going. That’s how she got Black balled. I know it was out of hurt and anger. Tam, as always, your answer was a gem. I still have hopes that things will get better for her with prayer. 🙏🏽

Monique unfortunately became a professional victim. She rightfully has a reputation as very difficult to work with, and not being a team player. When Netflix tried to help get her back on the right path, she screwed that up by being over demanding, not understanding that she had to build her way back. The best advice to learn from her is that if you bite the hand that feeds you, you will find yourself out of work very quickly. Her head got way too big and she got humbled.

She was doing a standup bit you’re literally on a show called the real and you guys sit around and talk about people that’s your business so just because you sit there and talk about people‘s lives and other people‘s issues doesn’t mean you’re respected she was doing a comedy bit any other time I’ve ever seen her in interviews and stuff she’s respectful this girl in the blue I don’t even know who the hell she is just mad because Monique could come on there and cuss you out while being quiet or loud .

First of all we are all equal human beings, HOWEVER, MoNique is not and has never been in the same social economic class as the three individuals who she is speaking out against. If her speaking up against them makes her feel better, then I’m happy for her. But unless she was physically or sexually abused or something along those lines, then this all boils down to her hurt feelings. MoNique discussed private conversations & interactions she had with Oprah Winfrey and Tyler Perry….WTF! If she would do that to them because they did/said something to or about her that angered her, then other producers, writers, industry people watching know she would do that to them as well. I’m not sure if her actions were a good move for her, but hey, maybe it is a win if she’s happy she let the world know her story🤷🏽‍♀
