What I can’t understand is whether its on KZfaq, in a movie, in a book, or in real life, we have seen people be done wrong, viciously in multiple situations, and felt vindicated along with the victim when the truth comes out. Why is this Monique situation any different than anything else?

A wise woman once told me, "If mess and drama follows you everywhere you go, it's not everyone else. You are the problem. Monique, stay fighting and being caught up in mess. When are we gonna start looking at her as the problem and not everybody else. It's similar to kim Burrell. Kim honestly believes that everyone else is misunderstanding or wanting to paint a negative narrative about her.

That statement is generally true. However in Monique’s case I don’t think it’s all her fault. Whoppi has had issues with Oprah and so has Toni Braxton. Many people have had issue with Tyler Perry. I think it’s the way Monique chose to address the issues she had by telling them such vulgarity but she was correct in her stance. I’ve always been told “It’s not what you say but how you say it.”

@shawn0817 but oprah and Tyler are not the only people Monique has had an issue with. Monique has gotten into it with a laundry list of people. At this point, Monique makes blogs more for who she is beefing with than her art.

I don't think Monique was calling Taraji weak. I think what Monique was saying is that the industry and white supremacists abroad enjoy watching the psychological breaking of Black individuals and we are much stronger when we stand united and that is the reason she asked us to boycott Netflix for a time and we should be willing to stand together as men and women or a community, because we are literally all that we have, and if we truly love each other and and we stick together, we will get the respect the honor and the pay that we deserve.
