He probably filmed this on an actual camera considering the 4:3 aspect ratio. Also this video was posted a LONG time ago before everything was recorded on phones.

Wow, that really is distorted. That said, it's pretty scary looking in real life as well. This was one of the few obstacles I didn't try when I was in Moab back in ~2005 on the JP Vegas to Sturgis Mayhem Tour. The cool thing was that I got to talk to Mickey himself (the obstacle is called Mickey's Hot Tub)... he was driving a new Rubicon himself and told me there's no way he would take *his* new Rubicon through that.

wet holes indicates that it just rained, as it flashes off fast in Moab. And yes traction is incredible on that rock. "Slick Rock", a few hundred yards away is not slick. Incredible traction. They mean slick flat for miles. Other than a few foul words the day was PG rated. No booze or littering or other.

Really? Thats one of the best parts of Moab. There is designated trails, they dont just tare everything up, and destroy everything... U ever even been there? Ive from Utah, so ya...
