Man that XRC is my dream setup, SXS’s are street legal in Utah as well so I could daily drive it, drive to the trail heads , run errands in it , pick up my daughter s from school , hit the sand dunes, snow wheeling but most of all Moab! I live close to it so it’s be perfect ! Swap ya for my Expedition Ready 4Runner 😉🙏 What were you aired down to? With beadlocks , sticky’s on an XRC if you air down 8-10 psi lower than normal you’ll be shocked at your traction. The sand paper sand stone with a good sized contact patch with a sticky will walk up anything without spinning , less jarring on steps as well especially when juicing it to bump up a ledge or several. I see a little molding of the tire but only when impacting or bouncing , you can drop PSI MUCH lower here. Just fyi. If I wheel my rubicon in the Rockies o air down to 15 psi, if I’m in the snow, 6 lbs and Moab sand stone I go to 6-8 psi , you could easilly go 5-8 psi on the Maxxis set up.

I am looking at both the Turbo RR XMR and XRC. Do you know if the drivetrain and low gear is any different between the two? The XMR comes with 30s and the XRC with 32s. I want to run 35s on which ever model I buy.

9:50 even living here & wheeling Moab all my life,.. THIS section is NOT enjoyable either direction for me , in fact with a fear of heights it’s down right terrifying! A few years back I was heading the opposite direction and dropped my left tire on my most hated obstacle leaning my Rubicon quickly in the 10 o clock direction and with my sway bar disconnected and a 6 inch long arm/coil overs and 40’s when it dropped and hit bottom my passenger rear tire swung up in the air so high it jerked my front passenger tire in the air as well, I was on 2 wheels at 8psi & truly thought it was over , no way to get out of a rolling driver side on the edge! Some of the girlfriends in our convoy I remember screaming at the top of their lungs which told me I was f&cked ! It leaned so hard I actually was looking over the edge at the flat wall when I felt the momentum of rolling stop pretty quickly, 2 of my best friends that had jsut got off a combat deployment in Afghanistan ( an Army Kiowa light attack helicopter pilot & a US Army Sniper attached to an ODA) I’m here today becasue they decided to come wheeling after JUST getting home from their deployments days earlier. Josh was behind me filming and Tyler in front of me spotting me , josh dropped his phone moving lighting fast to the rear quarter grabbing the roll bar base & Tyler grabbed the front grill passenger side while it was on 2 wheels rotating and somehow stopped the role gettingnthenfrontntire on the ground he slid onto his back when he slipped and lifted his body off the ground hanging on that front corner righh in front of my tires and josh put a foot in the rear wheel and one on the rear bumper as it rocked. The others in front and behind said it wasn’t tipping , it was actually rolling smoothly off the edge , they all thought that was it but my 2 bros literally saved me from a 2,200’ fall. I’m surprised i didn’t snap the steering wheel I was squeezing so hard and have to admit I pulled it down level and had to get out and sit down & legit threw up. Only time that’s ever happened. I haven’t wheeled the trail since , jsut passenger it /spot and walk that section. My stomache went tingly watching your XRC drop and rock cliff side on that off camber edge slope. You’ve got balls climbing that obstacle that lifts the passenger front so high while off camber , loss of traction and it’s of kicked your tail towards that edge. Judas! Tougher than me that’s for sure lol
