Two weeks of my salary says outside of her character her nationality is Filipino. I know a girl from the Philippines when I see one. Besides, my wife is from the island too. 1:45 I stand corrected, two of these ladies are from the Philippines.

I met her once at Christmas Party in November 2017, later when I returned to Orlando before last day of summer, she wasn't there. I tried to see her but I couldn't.

So Moanna is actually specifically a character of Hawaiian descent. It's not like the little mermaid where where the species is a fictional interpretation subjected to anyones imagination. Her character is a specific race and a specific gender. That is coming from myself who advocate for trans people and the entire lgbtq community. And as I black man myself I'm just being 💯 Disney has Black Panther. That character is specifically a black man.

I think that's going to be her new permanent meet n greet location. Discovery island near animal kingdom. I just wonder what will happen if a storm hits pretty bad while they're on the island.

@@cannotthinkofausername6379 I didn’t say they weren’t but we all know characters are added for kids and toddlers, as younger kids can’t do the majority of rides under 38 inches…..

If I’m gonna be blunt, I have mixed feelings about how pretty Moana is. I mean, she’s 16 but has plenty of guys online gushing about how she’s hot. I don’t really wanna support that sort of thing with teenage characters, but on the other hand that’s always been the nature of the prin…chief’s daughters, so who am I to complain?

I totally get this but I try to remember there’s always going to people that never matured or waste their time on that crap, no matter what character it is. As long as you see the vision and know in your heart that’s not you, it can still be a beautiful movie and a work of art! Don’t give the weirdos your time of day, if you do then they’ll just ruin for you.

@@melinacolon74 That’s a great point, although by the same token I genuinely *do* think she’s pretty; I started out saying that much. Come to think of it I don’t really remember why I had a problem with it. If a character is good-looking to people, you shouldn’t feel bad about it
