In light of the ongoing interest in the 2Pac case, we take a look back at Mob James’ 2019 VladTV interview, where he spoke about being in close proximity to 2Pac and Suge Knight. In this full interview, Mob James detailed his first meeting with Suge Knight and later working security at his record label. This led to Mob James telling stories about his time at the label, including being with Suge for the infamous Vanilla Ice incident and Suge nearly being kidnapped. During the conversation, Mob James also spoke about 2Pac being hit in Las Vegas, a war breaking out afterward, and his thoughts on Keefe D. To hear more, including Mob James’ message to Suge Knight, hit the full interview above.

Mob James a great man and let me tell yous he’s no grass or rat 🐀 just didn’t want to live that life no more once his own crew killed his brother shot 9 times and I don’t blame him for walking out that life because once the trust has gone there no point in it a good for him for not being two face with fake friends and no one went to jail because of mob James and that photo is not him !!!!!!!

What a great interview! When MJ shares about his family, and especially his brother, that was pretty got damn amazing! I learned all of those lessons he’s talking about earlier in life - I was loyal to a fault, but after a couple stints in jail I had to look at my life and reevaluate wtf was going on. Even my hardest boy, I knew he would stab me in the back if it ever came to doing any real time, or any real money. Take care of your real family, that’s all you really got.,

Man, I know what you mean. Same story about the homies I experienced. All the homies died for no good reason. I don't have hardly any homies I grew up with that's alive or that I can call today... We all grew up together and used to sleep over each other houses. Then, they started banging, all bloods from neighborhoods around the corner. The fued started, and then the homies started slaughtering each other, even at the funerals. 30 shootings in 1 month. Broke my heart!

Also I would like to point out that having a deep frozen woman’s bandage that was litteraly drenched with her smeling monthly blood before putting it in the freezer as a snack on a hot and sunny day might be refreshing but is nothing else than downright disgusting.

I take my hat of to this man respect. He speaks from his heart. He’s telling people don’t do as I did nothing good came from it but a lot of regrets. He feels the loss of Bountry so badly all these years later he feels it’s his fault. No it wasn’t it was the fault of tho man that took his life. And the man that was playing these men off each other. But be got played in the end.

I was there at sunset boulevard when the shooting happened. In fact my car was right in front of Orlando's white Cadillac. Once the shooting started I blocked the Cadillac with my Mercedes and got out of the car. I told Orlando and all the other cats to step out and they did. I asked them why they were shooting at black BMW and they explained they were just target practicing. I explained I won't tolerate such action if it happens again and they apologized and left. Only if I knew it was Pac in the car.

Gang violence is a result of economics … American economics depends upon the working class that manufactures and consumes a majority of the products made in the factories and mills . When the population exceeds the needed workforce? You’re gonna see trouble . Most of us are children of the workforce… we’re ready to replace our fathers in the 80s at gm , steel plants , on the docks etc . But these jobs were sent overseas ! So what’s left ? Super markets fast foods and hotels ? Jobs that paid 1/4 of the previous generation. Your pushed out by pops … rent is crazy ! Meanwhile the govt wants soldiers to help them turn countries into new manufacturing bases . i e to send more jobs there . 54ooo died in Vietnam. Many products I use wear today are now made there ???????? So the teens of the 80s . Had little opportunity or options to earn . Few had connections to jobs or higher education…. Most didn’t. Soooo … many got high . And some serviced this demand. But the competition was fierce … so you needed help ! Reagan gave us no hope. So we turned to dope !! Peace to MOB James. Cool dude 😊
