I worked for local 560 in UC.NJ when Tony ran it....Always seemed like a gentleman even tho everyone knew his history.

This guy was scary. Read the book written by Chuckie Obriens stepson. Its so weird hearing how Hoffa, Pro, Guicalone and others were all tied together via family bonds. Its strange hearing it all from a kid who calls them Uncle Jimmy and Uncle Tony and Uncle Jack.

He sister was married to Tony “Tony Jack” Giacolone. The Street Boss of Detroit for more than 40yrs and it was Pro and Giacolone that were supposed to meet Hoffa the day he went MIA….

There was a crazy story in the NY Daily News about Harold K.O. Konigsberg. When he got out of the joint he went to some posh nursing home in Florida and was bribing orderlies and acting like the gangster he is. Even at his advanced age in the 2010's.

I doubt it. Tony Pro was born in NYC & Provenzano is a common last name in Italy. Northern Italy. Originating in Tuscany.

RICO existed in the 70s however it was designed to combat corporations it wasn't applied to the mob until the 80s.

They said tony pros 20 year sentence for racketeering was one of the longest on record. Now days a 20 year sentence for RICO crimes is on the shorter end.

he got charged for murder too from a 1961 hit..so yeah, 20 years was only for the rico charge. the murder was a state charge that was separate from that one. he got life on that. 20 years for rico, and 4 years for something else. after his state convictions, the feds indicted him for RICO
