Yeah cause there's so many Kpop fans who are so weird that they can't admit to or sometimes even attempt to have friendships with men for fear the fans will freak out, accuse them of dating, ship them or cross the line and try to hack or fabricate evidence of their dating (see the Jennie & V mess). I really don't get how people don't understand this. The Kpop industry (and mainly fans) force idols to stick to their own gender for friends and so the only outlet they have for friendship, for flirtation, for physical affection/skinship and so on are people of their gender. Not to mention idols since they sign up as trainees spend ALL their time with their own gender... imagine being in an all-boys/all-girls school since you were 13 and then going to an all-girls/all-boys college where you lived with your gender in a dorm and the entire time since you were 13 it was off-limits to spend time with the opposite gender. To befriend them, to hang out, or if you did to EVER mention the friendship publicly. So with 10-20 years of basically just spending time with your gender, living with them and mainly only having friends of your gender, yeah, you "collect" friends of the same gender and you even are very affectionate, flirty, playful and so on. It doesn't mean they're gay. Just imagine how massively difference the kpop industry would be if the industry and more importantly the fans didn't react toxically to idols being friends, even publicly, with idols of the opposite gender. Only on a fair, non toxic playing field could we see if they also go around collecting male friends just as much if not maybe more-so than female friends. But as things are now, they are only allowed (mainly by "fans") to make/collect female friends so that's all they do. All of what I just described is also why those "watch ____ idol be so awkward around men!!" fan videos are flawed in their assumption as to why they are awkward around them. They are either awkward because 1) since they were trainees they were taught to avoid males and they have which has created an awkwardness and lack of experience interacting with the opposite gender or 2) the idols know even a small smile in the direction of an idol of the opposite gender provides weirdo kpop fans the content they need to start over analyzing, criticizing, hating and shipping the two idols together. So they put on neutral expressions and avoid being next to and interacting with males while on camera.

I agree with you, if you are a really fan of chungha. You will know how honest and kind she is. As well as sunmi too. That's why they have a very good chemistry! Cannot wait for Chungha bare&rare pt2. Miss you so much my queen.

Well it is related to jessi cause it was her show before sunmi and they booked a new host without telling jessi. Sunmi is amazing performer but not good at hosting a show its a little boring.

@@JarrodF7405 Just like I mentioned earlier there are 105 jessi's videos in this channel if jessi's fans want to comment about jessi. This particular video is not related to jessi at all why'd they want to shove their fave's name for fans who are watching this video for Sunmi and Chungha, like calling our faves boring that's very disrespectful. This showterview is under sbs it's their fault for not informing Jessi they want to change the host. Later when the contract end maybe they'll replaced Sunmi with another host it's all sbs decisions. For me Sunmi is an amazing host. There are thousands of people who like to watch this new season even though the views do not reach many millions it doesn't mean others preferences are better than ours. People's preferences are varied and different from each other and no one's preference is superior over the other's. Just watch the videos we like and ignore the ones we dislike and learn to be respectful, that's basic common sense.

@@myra_anne 💯% agree with you. For everyone of course our own fave is the best because the best is very subjective, no need to shove their fave over others as if their fave is the only perfect one it's annoying and disrespectful
