Showing a bunch of Mobile Fidelity vinyl I picked up earlier this year. The best sounding records money can buy? Maybe...

Nice haul Matt, seems much harder than it used to be to come across MOFI's in the wild- that's a great stack you found. I also have the MOFi of Al Stewart and I absolutely love that album. I consider him to be very underrated- that album is in regular rotation for me. I also own the Pink Floyd, Dire Straits & Ry Cooder that you showed and honestly they all sound spectacular musically as well as sonically. My copy of Pink Floyd came from a store that actually wanted $120 for it so I had passed. However, it was truly a mint copy and I was blown away- got home and couldn't get it off my brain- I ended up bringing the store owner a used receiver I had that was worth around the same price and he agreed to a trade thankfully so I was able to acquire that album- I was thrilled. Anyway- enjoy all the great albums Matt!

Thanks, Christi, and sorry for taking a while to reply. Most MoFi's I've heard sound spectacular. Sounds like you got a pretty good deal for your Dark Side of the Moon. Always nice to exchange vs having to pay cash... a win win all around. The early MoFi's, before they had the Original Master Recording series, sound amazing. Like the sound effect albums, Mystic Moods Orchestra, and such... they sound stunning even if the background lounge music isn't to everyone's taste! Thanks for watching!

Zubin Mehta is still with us. I have a MoFi CD pressing of "The Wall" which is incredible. My favorite MoFi record is English Beat's "Special Beat Service" which sounds far better than the standard pressing. I'd like to find a copy of Steve Miller Band's "Fly Like an Eagle."

Dire Straits sound music like made for MoFi. How much was the cheapest one? mr. Finglish (Bäd English Recs)

I think a couple of them were $15 at most. Pink Floyd was the most expensive at $75.
