To navigate the interface of this game looks harder than piloting an actual gundam

So, I gotta question here: Is this game's combat completely automated? Or is it like the game "Iron Saga" where you can still control your units and give them manual orders and attacks? Because I'm having trouble deciphering what I'm seeing here when you go into battle. I just wanna make sure this game isn't YET ANOTHER Raid: Shadow Legends clone before I commit to it or not.

Game looks alright in 3d models and stuff department. But UI is terrible, its so clunky and busy its just hard to look at. Basically UI is really outdated. Also too much flashy animations where they not belong making thing just plain confusing (this is also UI problem, but also art direction one). Environment need to be more hi res, or smaller in scale, almost 40% of environment is not used for battle, they should of just make main part high resolution, and all around stuff just fade in to low res, simplified stylized holographic map. This is a lot of art direction miss opportunities and UI mistakes. Overall, this is pretty bad for 2021 mobile game. And still, it picks my interest because of UC timeline storyline and those animation bits on KZfaq, but if its all the game can offer it just not worth it. P.S.: Sorry for rant, and thank you for video showcase. P.S. 2: UC Engage confirmed through leaks as series for GBO 2 (Gundam Battle Operation 2) so MS from it is going to be released in GBO2. If you like MS from Engage and have PS4, PS5 i recommend start playing, GBO2 is great, but hard and quite punishing PvP game, it is going to be a struggle to learn how to pilot MS at first, so be ready. Start now to accumulate tokens for pulls, 3 a day for daily's plus get in to some random casual Clan to passively get tokens for Clan missions and Clan level ups. You need 30 tokens for a 10 pull and 195 tokens to guaranty a 4 star MS on a special 7 step, step up banner, Gundam Engage Zero can be a 4 star for example.

Another boring game where you just watch your units fight

This game just came out on global today and it sucks ass. It needs way more polish. And the battle system is just soo bad. You just sit there and watch your units from above and thats all. Just wait for them to finish fighting. Its lame as hell. I cant believe the previous gundam game on mobile was better than this. This game is a downgrade. Not worth my time or spending on it.
