Smartphones are best for Learning, beginning photography. They provide us different focal lengths 13mm, 24mm, 50mm, 75mm, macro etc. Quite good at starting photography. That too without carrying all these lenses separately. So convenient. For Professionals, Mirrorless DSLRs are must. Quality is at another level.

I recently bought a Canon 200D Mark II. I have never owned or used a DSLR before. Once I bought, I realized the video quality given by it was only marginally better than phones, webcams etc. and phones and webcams are easy to use as well. You think I should return the DSLR and buy a better phone/webcam?

Hi brother. I want to upgrade from an old d3300 dslr to a mirrorless. I am confused between a6400 and z50 for now and leaning more towards a6400. Is it right to buy a6400 now if my main goal is to record nature videos and timelapse as I'm a mountain climber and want to record beautiful landscapes. Also, which of the two will be a better investment if I have to think of a long term perspective regarding availability and affordability of wide range of lenses.

@PixelMatter - i use the sony a6400, its a lifetime investment. Beautiful pictures and videos to cherish for a lifetime. I have always believed that cameras are time machines which let us re-live the past, without altering it. Buying a mobile phone for 3 yrs @30k with crappy teeny tiny camera sensors, with image/video quality that can never match a mirrorless camera and replacing every 3 yrs with a new costlier mobile is just simple waste of money and time.

I am beginner.. Canon 250d is my choice because my budget is around this camra ... Sr Ager ap better advise da saktay ho to please give me your idea..... I am waiting...

Hello bhai I have sony 6400 and sigma 56mm 1.4 mm set up ...jab mai couple photos ya group photos khichta hoon(1.4 apperture ) aur usme ek bhi thoda aage piche hota hai toh defocus ho jata hai (blur ) ...isks koi samadhan hai jisme sab log focus me rahe open apperture me 1.4 ya 1.8 me thank you
