Both phones have their own strengths and weaknesses, but still I checked out every aspects of the phones starting with what you get in the box, the cameras, display, its performance and how optimized are the software of the phone. I am currently using Tecno camon 30 black color and it is awesome!!! I bought it for 265k. I was formerly using Samsung s21 FE and this an upgrade. Tecno has upgraded, weldone Tecno!!!

Have that issue too n its killing me. Considering also infinix note 40 which in Kenya is even cheaper than spark n camon. But is like I,ll end up with camon hoping to get Android updates.

Very honest comparison. The Camon 30 pro 5g is truly better. But at essentially twice the cost of the Camon 30, most shoppers will be absolutely fine with the 273k device. If Tecno priced the Camon 30 pro 5g at about 50-60k more than the regular Camon, then the Camon 30 pro 5g would have been a solid recommendation.

If they don't mind about an underpowered device with G99, I agree. With essentially better chipset for near flagship performance and solid front + back camera, the Pro nearly worth the price with some important features missing like longer software support.

@@kingdavidoyedemi9917 I agree that the SoC of the pro model may be more than just 50-60k in difference. But Tecno has not said anything on firmware and security updates and these are very important attributes in buying a phone that's worth upto ₦500,000.00 Besides. Not everyone who buys a Camon 30 pro will truly exploit the potentials of the SoC on it. Most buyers will still end up with candy crush saga, Instragram, WhatsApp and X with a bit of Netflix and KZfaq. Not everyone will be willing to download call of duty or other Hefty game titles to truly exploit the powerful SoC on the pro. Tecno is perhaps just continuously expanding the Camon lineup to a point where it becomes a sub brand like Honour is to Huawei or Poco and Redmi for Xiaomi

This phone are simply for people looking for the performance of Infinix GT20 Pro and Xiaomi 13T, but wants the improved camera. Don't care about camera but still want the gaming performance, I highly suggest the GT20 Pro.

For the screen resolution. viewing 2k vs 4k doesn't hold much difference due to the screen size. You can get a crisp solid watching experience on both. Also, for the 144hz vs 120hz screen refresh rate. There's not much difference on both. Almost identical experience.

Apart from the camera, yes definitely. The wireless charging ability is the next best thing after good cameras. I hope this answer is helpful

The camon 30 premier has a periscope telephoto while the pro doesn't have it, the premier has a wider display with higher resolution 1.5k at around 451ppi with 120Hz refresh rate while the pro has a 1080p resolution at 393ppi with 144Hz refresh rate, the premier has a more flagship build with metallic frame and a more aesthetically pleasing design while the pro just feels waay cheaper than samsung galaxy A55 even tho it's more capable. Just get the premier, it's like $480-$500.
