Ditched my iphone SE 2022 for the A55. Went from Android to my first ever iphone back then and I was pleasantly surprised but soon after I started to miss the freedom of Android, iOs being much more restrictive which was a pain to experience at times. My 2nd day with my A55 and couldn't be happier going back to Android through this model. Have to note I only paid 70 quid for my A55 and the rest is added onto my phone bill monthly (38 quid in total per month excluding reductions because I've been with my provider for a while now).

Does the a55 camera capture natural facial features like iPhone(front/selfie)?? ...too many brands out there are using filters & it looks very saturated which I really dislike. And also with food imaging, it tends to have an orange cast/tone to it. Thank you

I don't mind the bezels being as big they're on the A55 & 35, as the bezels might actually help prevent the active screen from being damaged in case of a fall impacting the phone's sides, in case the phone hasn't a protective case. I also feel 25 W charging is just fast enough. If it goes beyond that, it might actually wear out the batteries sooner in the long run. Gr8 review though..

S23 is far superior in SOC performance, better display and cameras. Only reason to get an A series over S23 is micro SD, larger screen or cheaper cost but performance wise S23 will be the better experience, especially since all S23's came with the fantastic snapdragon chipset.

I feel like the A35 is gonna beat A55 this time when it comes to sales figures. As both are almost similar and most people who just want a midrange and dont care too much about specs would just pick the cheaper one since both looks premium. Unlike last year's a34 which has the teardrop notch and looked outdated

Bro A55 is much better option tha S23 Fe because S23 fe has more chin as compared to A55. Secondly S23 Fe comes with exynos 2200 which is 70% stable while A55 comes with 1480 which is 99% stable. Secondly A55 is new phone and it's more premium than s23 fe. Thirdly A55 has more battery as compared to s23 fe. So Go with A55 bro

I think Gadget Byte has videos with similar comparisons...my memory of her videos is either IQOO/that line from that brand is gaming-centric. Unless your grandma wants the most stable frame rate while playing Genshin Impact or using the high performance on video editing, no need to go for the IQOO unless it's cheaper.

S23 FE is better, better processor and better cameras. Build quality and looks pretty much the same. If you want to get one of them then go for S23 FE, or if you can find for good price get s22/s22+ Even S21 series is better than A55

something i dont get is that the samsung galaxy a52 at more pixels in their camera both front and back and this phone is much older can someone help me out and tell me whether they know if the samsung galaxy a 52 camara is better or worse then the new a models from samsung. I want to purchase a new phone but the only function that is important to me is the recording function to make voice notes and the camera's everything else isnt important to me

I instantly liked both these. Was a little disappointed with Exynos chip and the price. A 5k less for both these would have been a winning strategy again. I'm not sure of the A35, but A55 has a competition from S23 FE and even slightly by S21 FE 2023. These both phones would be a great buy during discounted sales.

I quite like the larger bezel. It gives the phone character. At least the bezels are symmetrical. That's more of a big deal than the thickness

@@ayouboughar4673 yes. But the service and repair support is terrible. I live in Cyprus, an EU country, and if I want the 2a I must pay €349 + postage (probably €50) and maybe even import duties (not sure about that). So at least €400 minimum. Plus, if it needs a repair I have to send it to them (postage fees I pay if it's my fault) and they said it can take 3-6 weeks (!!!!!!) before I get it back. That's A BIG FAIL. If I buy a A35 for €379 I can get it immediately at my local shop, get 2 year warranty, the repair centre offers 1 hour repair for walk in Samsung customers with original parts and warranty and IP 67 is not lost. Plus tons of cases and accessories are widely available. Why would I buy anything else?

buy the oneplus 12r with snapdragon 8 gen 2 sell at 399 usd rather than the samsung exynos. oneplus 12r you can play heavy games in hi settings with no problem.

Ahh yes my favourite handheld heaters, i own A34 and even tho it has a mediatek chipset it manages to run as hot as the sun on a casual day i can only imagine what it can do with exynos. so please unless you only work in AC all the time or you live somewhere cold pls go for this phone but if not then better get a heater instead.

Great review, however the last part where you say you dont recommend these phones for gaming .. man you are wrong these phones work great with every game in the store hands down!! Also Samsung uses LiOn batteries because it lasts longer only chinese phones uses LiPo which has fast charging, low temp and low life. It isnt bad but Samsung is working on a newee battery better than LiOn and LiPo

Hahaha. I'm still using my A51 which i bought in 2020 😂😂 many months after it came out. Its actually holding out pretty well. I still get full day battery if I'm not gaming on it💀

Is the A55 worth 40k when the S22 and S23 FE are available at a similar price with a much better processor and camera? The only advantage of A55 seems to be the extra year of software support since it is the latest launch

Can we expect 6-7 sot on a55.....bcz i don't think s23 fe will give that even it better than a55 also try to do review on a55 specially performance n battery that will help to lot 😊

You can expect even more my A54 on a full charge lasts all day and when I use it I get 7h + sot so yea
