Sing (2016) Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine.

The scene when Johnny's father understands his talent is touching. It also gets father and son closer.

I love the rocky relationship between father and son which gets better later on. The lesson is that it's OK that an offspring isn't like their parents, and they should be supportive of their offspring's choices, even though they still need your help at times.

I love his dad in sing 2, the way he’s so supportive of Johnny during Klaus’ interruption. I still find Klaus’ surname (Kickenklober) absolutely hilarious. TIPPY TOES TIPPY TOES I DONT SEE YOUR TIPPY TOES Edit: anyone else notice Johnny’s dad rips the bars off the wall in time to the music? Such a good little detail

This whole time Johnny's dad could easily break out of prison with his super strength and parkour skills, so then why was he so worked up about the police when he could easily break the walls out to escape and why did he need the getaway car when he has those parkour skills?
