I could listen to hours of lectures like these on tire and handling dynamics! I prefer the feel and handling of narrower, higher-profile(60-series and up) tires over wider, lower profile(55-series and under) tires.

Accelerated and localized wear in extreme situations change load distribution on footprints and ground force pressure, thus it is contributing to dynamic stresses and may cause tire carcass components separations, mainly belt edge crack and propagate to tread detachment

I have a couple of questions, Does a contact patch remain symmetric (about YZ plane passing through WC) on a macro level during a car is travelling at a uniform velocity (straight line)? When a car is travelling at constant velocity (straight line), does angular velocity of a wheel remain constant?
