For the fully enclosed e43 does the cover need to be trimmed?

They all need to be trimmed no matter the class

i’ve read some older reviews that the fully enclosed is too tight of a fit and may even need to squeeze the hood closed. has there been any revisions to the design to avoid super tight fits? im running a ‘16 C450 and might buy but idk if it would be too tight
