Between his chicken shit, cheap shots like this, his list of demands from Canucks (his number, was retired), getting the C from Linden, playing like crap and completely disinterested, then suing the team years after he retired for more money…..Messier was a sorta a piece of sh*t. Hell of a player, but was completely full of himself and have no idea why he gets the label as a good leader. And no, I’m not a Canucks fan. Steve Yzerman was a great leader. Represented everything in a real man and true leader that Messier wasn’t imo.
