Great choice for a first car! Working on these cars are fairly easy too. I love my V8’s but this car will forever be one of my favorites

5.6 is very good for a car at this price point. I have heard that the K24 has a lot more aftermarket support but to get even close to 5.6 you’d have to have the manual or supercharge the auto. My dream spec TSX would be a V6, manual, SH-AWD. Ik that’s basically a TL but I like the looks of the TSX more haha.

@Nirvana_115 From the Owners manual: S Position (S) - To shift into the S position, press the release button on the front of the shift lever, and move the lever to S. This position is similar to D, except only gears from first to fourth are selected. The S position keeps the transmission from cycling between fourth and fifth gears in stop-and-go driving. It’s not sport mode. Doesn’t tighten up suspension, make the transmission shift any faster, make throttle response more sensitive, etc. The S stands for Sequential Shift. Literally does not make the car faster

There isn’t a sports mode, S on the shifter does not stand for sports mode. Also, the paddles really make no difference in terms of speed. I’m not saying it’s a bad car, I’m just saying it’s slow. Especially at 6,000ft above sea level.

Just got done doing a 2 step paint correction and ceramic coating. I was gonna make a video on it but it was my first time ever paint correcting and I had to go through some growing pains lol. It took me like 10+ hours to do so the video would have been too long and it got dark outside. Next paycheck tho I am ordering my wheels so I’ll make a video on that when they show up 🤙🏼

Next time try sport mode and try at a red light shift down that’s first- let it go to red light shift up- repeat again till 4rth and then do you but try it it’s fun I own the same car

There is no “sport mode”, the S stands for Sequential Shift Automatic Transmission and all that does is keeps the transmission from cycling between fourth and fifth gears in stop-and-go driving and holds the gears. The car doesn’t have much power, is heavy, has an automatic, naturally aspirated motor, and is 6,000ft above sea level. The car is slow no matter how you drive it (unless you have a manual)

@@cartere9981Yes I do believe it is more fun in manual mode, but that does not make it faster. The car is heavy, only has 200hp, and I’m up at 6,000ft elevation so that robs it of even more HP than most. I still love the car, but it’s slow at the end of the day.

@@Natty.Motion Buddy, they’re slow cars lol. At least at 6,000ft elevation they are. Maybe it’s better at sea level but here it’s slow. Idk what else a driver could do except put their foot down to the floor, it’s not a manual where you need to time shifts.
