@@stealthkbd That's freaking amazing, I'm thinking about getting a MODE Envoy for that sound, Should I go for a POM plate, or does it not matter which plate I use?

@@link3457 Hey thanks! I would say getting this sound signature with the Envoy is going to be very tough, the Envoy seems to be a much clackier board with a very different sound profile. Although I would say POM plate + plate foam is probably the direction youd want to go. Plate material has a big impact on sound in general, I believe Mode has some videos showcasing how different plates change the sound.

@@stealthkbd Thanks for the tips, I'll get them with the foam kit but, I think using the tape mod, I can reduce the amount of reverberation in the case (and the clack) a bit, I saw a video of someone using the cream sodas in the envoy without plate foam, alu plate, and it was actually pretty close. I'm going to get the POM with plate foam and see how it goes.

@@stealthkbd I think honestly it's kind of rare to find one-piece boards that have a similarly kind of deep and warm sound signature in general, one-piece boards always seem to have a higher-end sound compared to two-piece. Even something like drop-in o-ring vs. sandwich o-ring is quite different, the latter always sounds a bit more dampened and more towards the low end than the one-piece boards. The only exception I can really think of is the Alas, and that's mostly because it's just such a heavy board at nearly 3kg because of the huge brass bottom piece
