Seeing your collections gave me a nostalgia of when I lived in Houston and Las Vegas, building mostly Revell and AMT kits. X')

Wish I have a room where I can organize my kits like you. Sadly they're all stashed in the attic. Love the Jeeps!

Cool space and great stash

Just finished the Visible Engine about a month ago. Was a fun build. it wont stay in time. The timing gear no matter how much you aline it and try to make it flat it will flex when you crank it and skip teeth and then become out of time. The push rods killed it for me. They Flex under the pressure of the lifters and bind up sliding over the cam. even if you smooth the molding lines like suggested. its a great desk piece tho( Personally bought it to build and set on my Desk )

wow...lots of cool stuff. I started with best friend years ago in the ho scale railroad (more models than trains) world. Boxed it all up...then got in to model kit building. I thought of doing an N scale intermodal layout...but not firm plans yet....cheers

Hey Rick,are you still around ? I am looking to ask someone in the know,like you, are unbuilt,in the box, Johan models worth anything ? Im 57,just got back into building after 30 years. I managed a Hobbyshop when I was young,and while I did,I bought alot of models that I thought I would have time to build which I didnt. I kept my unbuilt collection in a closet at my parents house all these years and almost sold the entire collection a few times. Last year,out of the blue I got a bug up my ass to build again. I mailordered compressor,airbrushes along with everything else. Anyway,I will never have the time to build everything I have,not even close. Is it a better idea to NOT mess with my old kits and buy new ones today and just hold on to them and put them on a online auctions? I can see I will need money in the future when I can no longer work. If they are not worth alot ($75 ) then I will build them instead of buying new kits. Thanks Howard H.

KOOL!! when you go to put the 1/16 dukes of hazzard charger together you will hate it it dont together well you will have to do alot of modifing so its go together...that kit is the same as petty car but different body

Hello Sir, Can you please help me about a lot of stash kits modelers have in their collection. I've been watching a lot of videos about modelers with large numbers of kits. What I don't understand is why would someone (I don't want to insult anyone's preference or be nosie) have so many of the same kits? I can understand if a kit has more than one version, but the regular kits I don't understand why would someone collect more than one kit? Again I don't want to insult yours and there collection you folks can do whatever you want I'm just curious that's all. Thank you for your time in reading my question and comments. Sincerely Allan
