Thank you for taking the time to share the skills you have acquired over a life time. I'm enjoying your work immensely. I taught basic graphic design skills at a community college. Old school hand skill not on the curriculum much these days. There were four safety items in the first lesson: Read the instructions on any product your are going to use and believe any safety warnings! When cutting materials with a blade, always keep your eye on the blade or just the area just in front of the cutting edge of the blade! That way you will avoid running into hand or thumb or what ever. And then, the No. 11 blade has a very sharp point that has a tendency to snap off and take flight when side pressure is applied to it. Scrape in a direction away from you eyes. And lastly, as you show with the triangle anti roll sleeve on your knife, when a No. 11 rolls off the work surface it always drops point first. Always! ;^ ) So put a masking tape flag on the end to keep it from rolling.

Such magnificent technique and hand skills. It’s fortunate (at least for me) that this type of build is not transferable to N Scale. It’s just all too damn small. As always Boomer - thank you for the share.
@boomerdiorama

It's probably not necessary in N Scale. I would say that all the standard model railroad scales including HO Scale are a challenge to make the scene believable. All the more fun for me, even though I would prefer to model in much larger scale, HO gives me the space I desire.
