Hi my poised people! Welcome to my second channel! If you're joining the community here from Poised with Purpose Co., thank you SO SO much for tuning in and following along on this journey! I hope you all enjoy this vlog where I share what it's like modeling in the Columbus Arts Festival during the Fashion As Art Runway Show!
It was an honor to walk for Fashion Designer Dominic Ciucci this year during the fashion show! Thank you to COSI for allowing the GCAC ( Producer Celeste Malvar-Stewart) to use your building for hair and makeup (Haircitecture Brand), and for all of the wonderful volunteers and sponsors! Thank you so much for taking us along for this day; it was such a gorgeous day (loved that you praised Jesus for that). This was a Great video and I loved that you got a funnel cake - I totally would have wanted that along w/ a lemonade (Ha). This might sound silly but how do you prepare for such a long day ? How do you stay energized and mentally prepared for it all ? You said 8-10 -whew-; not to mention, travel time.

@@jainereingard Hi!! Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment! 🫶🏽☺️ It really was a glorious day- thank the good Lord for it! It's not a silly question at all! I think I ought to make a separate video about that actually, if that's something you might be interested in? It certainly is a long day, but I've been doing this for many years so I suppose I'm used to it! Please do let me know if you'd like a separate video answering that for you!! In short: A good night's sleep the night prior is essential. Eating a breakfast before traveling there is also important because there's a lot of standing around for hours in heels. Staying hydrated with LOTS of water!! I also take time away from everything during breaks/down time. (Which is why I walked around the festival!) I also brought my journal and a word search puzzle with me to keep my quiet time! 🫶🏽

@@poisedladydiaries You Welcome; I am really enjoying this modeling inside peek. Amen. If you make it, I'll certainly watch it; God willing. That and maintaining professionalism all the way through. It's like even if you're not doing anything, if you are on location, you represent everyone. Thank you for explaining that; all great things - love that it is OK to take the time to step away.
