When a fund manager is interviewed I always look up their performance and laugh. Yes the big techs are getting overvalued but if you don't time the market hype and bust cycle correctly then you're underperforming passive index funds. "Nevada’s public employee pension fund invests passively and beats peers" - a headline I saw today. My personal return for the last 3 years is 24% which is far more than most fund managers have achieved most of it from passive ETFs in tech/nasdaq and very little stock picking. I think Goodson has a point though, I tend to agree and I'm now starting to move a little bit into long term bonds.

Id say given recent data its shaping up to be a good time to rotate "some" profits out of "the big 7" and US funds and into other areas of the market, The NZX being one of these, a lot of NZ companies got cought with there pants down when inflation hit and interest rates hiked, and i think a lot investers have been waiting to see a new bottom in those companies that have weathered the storm. The potential rate cuts in November are definitely going to add fuel to the bull camp and lift all boats, Infratil has definitely been an outtlier and one of my better NZX picks during this down turn period.

Quality channel. Criminally under subscribed, even by NZ standards.
