The Lite House is a residence conceived by architect Duda Porto for the 33rd edition of CASACOR São Paulo, one of the country's main architecture exhibitions. Built in just 40 days for the exhibition, it stands out for its approach of valuing the essential. With a modular construction system, the house is self-sufficient, sustainable, and quick to execute.
The project is based on the concept of simplicity and efficiency, seeking to integrate man, architecture, and the surroundings in a balanced way. Its modular structure allows it to be dismantled, transported, and reassembled in different locations, reflecting the idea of adaptability and flexibility, reminiscent of nomadism.
With 120 sqm of internal area and 70 sqm of external area, the Lite House adopts an open-concept design, where the arrangement of furniture defines the spaces. The materials used, such as oak in the floors and wood in the ceiling, create a rustic and sophisticated atmosphere, complemented by designer furniture in neutral tones.
The house also offers an outdoor gourmet space, whose movable and configurable pieces allow for the reconfiguration of the environment. The wooden deck leads through a path of stones, highlighting the interaction with the natural surroundings.
Furthermore, the Lite House is designed to adapt to different phases of life, accommodating up to four bedrooms, according to the family's needs. Its neutral and adaptable architecture allows the owner to live wherever they desire, whether in an urban environment, in the mountains, or by the sea, reflecting the idea of home as a particular universe of each individual.
