I feel like I'm the only one who prefers Brendan's vocals at least 30x more. I:
@0Genus09 жыл бұрын
***** Agreed. Sean's vocals are good, but it's also a very generic punk-rock/post-rock voice. Brendan gives the band a much more noticeable and distinct style.
@Zaes2238 жыл бұрын
+Emma Legere I like both equally to be honest. The one time I was lucky enough to see Modern Baseball Brendan had the flu so the guitarist from Old Gray played Brendan's parts and Jake sang all Brendan's parts and it was really cool to hear Jake's version of the songs but it wasn't the same. I like how they each sing on different tracks reminds me of Blink-182
@ghcstie8 жыл бұрын
supaproman2 that sounds so cool! I'd love to hear/ see those versions

***** I can't find any videos from the show It was in Cambridge at the middle east June 2, 2014. Love the Deja Entendu pic btw. sad thing is I have You're Gonna Miss it All on vinyl autographed by everyone but Brendan gonna have to complete it one day.
@John124948 жыл бұрын
+Emma Legere Both are very good. I think the reason people love Sean's singing is because he never sung in a song before 'you graduation', so hearing this other really awesome voice from the band blew people's minds. No one expected him to sing that well.

It's been three whole years of me thinking about you everyday Sometimes for hours, sometimes in passing Saw you from the bottom of the staircase, Stood out for hours as you complained About how you haven't seen your friends yet, That you're too drunk to stand and, You not knowing if you can love him forever Bullshit you fucking miss me There, I said it, I guess I'll talk to you in a few months Sitting drunk on the sidewalk, I guess I'll get up, I guess I'll go for a walk Brushed my shoes against the pavement, I swear this has gotta be the Hundredth time I've thought of you tonight You weren't the only one who thought of us that way I spend most nights awake, wide awake I never thought that I, oh, I would see the day Where I'd just let you go, let you walk away Where I'd let you walk away Once you call you crook, called you a bandit There ain't no other good damn Reason why my heart would even go missing For so many months so I was wishing that you, That you would stop pretending Remember all those countless nights when I told you I'd loved you? And you'd never forget it, oh, just forget it You weren't the only one who thought of us that way I spend most nights awake, wide awake I never thought that I, oh, I would see the day Where I'd just let you go, let you walk away Where I'd let you walk away You weren't the only one who thought of us that way I spend most nights awake, wide awake I never thought that I, oh, I would see the day Where I'd just let you go, let you walk away Go ahead and walk away
