Brother you made a wrong information, Bhutan has a democracy, we Bhutanese elected our leaders that is we elect Our Prime Minister. The king is the head of state like how president is the head of state of India.

Sir little clarification on your commentary ji. Indians or other tourists can stay in any star rated hotels but the hotel has to be vertified by tourism department. Previously TCB tourism council of Bhutan, now called DOT department of tourism certifes the hotels that is fit for the tourists. In Bhutan there are hotels ranging from 1 to 5 star hotels and high end luxury hotels as well. Tourists can stay in any DOT certified hotels.
