I do have a bigger kitchen in a full natural stone, 20" thick wall, house from 1870, here in the Ardennes and it has two windows, an L-shaped kitchen ( from about 1982..), a table with chairs and on the wall side also at that table a typical German style L-shaped bench seating. I am looking such video's to pick up ideas for a future make over from the kitchen in an even more country style one. I could also make it in one of barn and then the kitchen could be 13 meters long. I do know several people who did that. Ofcrnot everybody can do this but such video's are to ( for us viewers) inspire. I am thinking of placing old(style) radiators under the north sided kitchen windows and I already have chairs from around 1870, a 1920s liquor cabinet and an eagled real Jugendstil lamp with goldend leaves. No, the kitchen is not high. Normal. I the house I also found several about 100 year old kitchen items and they will then get a good spot. I also found ww2 items. So, I use it for inspiration and sometimes I make screen shots. I also have a glass-in-lead/stained glass door from the 1920s to be used and from the neighbor I got a steel windows from his barn from about 1,5x1,5 meters with rectangular windows spaces. I will de-rust it, ground it and paint it black like visible in some of the vids. The window is about 100 years old. I am not sure about the floor yet. Under the 80's vinyl are still the old tiles. Also in the hall. I think I have such an antique stone sink in the halls windowsill. I think so because of the shape, height and the sides are chiseled. My opposite neighbor who gave me the steel window frame still has such a stone sink on its original place: in the hall when you entered the house. She just put some pots with plants in it. I am a man, living with his teenage son. So yeah, such vids arehelfull.my house still has 90 years old gray slate tiles on it ( the village slate layer told me how old they are) and in my street side front garden I put two big rusty milk cans that I found on my attic (this was a cow farm buy the living parts was build as a house. It is not converted) and I put some bundle (bundel in Dutch) straw in them that I found in the barn. The table is a real wood chop block with a big plate of slate stone on it. The bench is such a nice metal one with wood to sit on. O, and I put such an original Witch broom that I found in my barn next to the front door.
