@The XRoyalProX the whole point of cod is that you're able to solo carry if you're good enough unlike other games which are more teamplay heavy. Yet that has been completely removed.

lol i think you can think of it as work smarter not harder but in this case play smarter, because there is no need to be an absolute sweaty tryhard but that doesn't necessarily mean camping. No better word to explain it other than "tactical" i genuinely dont see anything wrong with that play style other than the people who over exaggerate and literally just camp and hardscope the whole game lmao

Agree. I haven’t touched MP since Warzone dropped… same thing I did with MW2019. Regular MP feels way too sweaty all the time.

similar thing here, I play at a pretty decent level and can compete against most sweats, but I don’t find it ‘fun’ because it’s frustrating going against people that constantly sweat (particularly due to the aggressive SBMM) and the better I do, the worse the lobbies get which means I tend to stay in sweat lobbies. Warzone and DMZ, even with their issues, are pretty dang fun though. I’ll probably move onto those as my main gameplay after getting weapons leveled up and the camos I like

@@VaporTrailMix there is a difference between casual gaming and competitive sports. When I'm playing CoD I want to play casually with other casuals and still do well. I don't want to be matched with people who play shooters as a religion and can 360 quick scope me and hop around like bunnies on crack. If I wanted to be one of those cracked up rabbits I'd be playing an actually competitive game game.

@@notagoodsitrep Then not every sniper or MG has to be 50 BMG. They could easily make the vehicle machine guns be something in 7.62 NATO, and also make use of snipers in .338 Lapua or whatever other calibers that exist.

@@Mobius__ Many sniper rifles and MG's share the same caliber and realism =/= fun. The M-40 from CoD4 was an extremely fun sniper to use back in the day. But it shared a caliber with the M-14 and G3 semi-auto rifles, meaning that either the G3 becomes a one shotting laser beam or the iconic sniper becomes useless. Further, even if devs made sniper rifles always have a larger caliber than any other primary, that would massively limit weapon variety and all but ruin historical settings as either the iconic bolt action rifles never get included or many other iconic self loading weapons never get in (the M1 Garand and M1918 BAR had the same caliber as the M1903 bolt action; the MG42 & G43 share calibers with the kar98k; Lee-Enfield, Lewis MG, Bren MG and Vickers MG are all in 303). Balance and variety always trumps realism in more mainstream fps games. You don't know what you are talking about.

@@notagoodsitrep Weapon variety is a weird point to make when we take into account how many weapons in Call of Duty are chambered in 5.56, or 7.62. Hell, even Modern Warfare II has quite a few rifles in .300 Magnum and one in 47/70 government. Balance would also be in available through attachments and weapon handling, it is completely absurd to think an M1903 would be left out of a game simply because it shares the same caliber as a BAR and Garand. It's as simple as making players pick between (high accuracy + high power) scope or (worse handling + fully automatic fire).

@@kenet362 Yeah, because at the time (2000's) most ppl playing shooter were casuals. Everyone was playing for fun with sometime 1 big try harder (who was often a 15 year old timmy) Now games are streamed by 300 streamers, and their goal is to make everything faster. So they run run run run kill kill die and repeat. Doesnt mater if they dont have 1% of fun, gameplay need to be "fast" for viewers. The result is a, viewer think is the way to play and a ton of ppl want to play like them. But Try to justify the fact that running, making 1/2 kills, dying, repeat is smarter/funnier than playing tactical and kill 3/4 ppl / death, get more fun, help the team 10x more.

Call of Duty is a sprinting and shooting game. Always was.

Tbf how do u punish staying still lol. I mean even if they made the mini map the way it was and the reduced footsteps i don’t think they’ll stop camping. It’s a very boring but very effective play style and a lot people stopped caring that it’s boring 🤷🏾‍♂️

@@r33lsniper18 it’s not about punishing campers, it’s about allowing other playstyles to work. Being a rusher simply doesn’t work in this game, effectively alienating half the playerbase that have played that way for years. I don’t care if they promote camping, but they must have ways to promote rushing too

Nah dude, ADS is very important on shotguns cause it largely increases your kill range. And especially here where you have only 2 shots it very much counts
