Let me start by saying this: I dont blame D' Wayne for the editing. With that being said, the on-screen imagery (mostly the cut aways or b roll), which mainly consists of white and other faces, doesn't line up with his vision of empowering black boys and girls like himself. Just my observation. Do I believe that there are/will be black kids who get the opportunity to study there? Absolutely.. But like most opportunities, the white people will always benefit the most. That's just the way our society works. I pray they're doing the necessary community outreach to bring awareness to those who need it the most.
