This is a second part of fullstack e-com website. In this part, you'll make a node server to run website on localhost, then you'll learn to do form validations. And storing user in firestore. In total, in this video we'll make signup page/ login page, logout feature and sellers dashboard.

1:30:24 For those who're wondering why apply-form details are showing on your page but not on sir's page, it is because you need to apply 'hide' class next to apply-form class.

Your alert box is not selected properly in showalert function. Check your querySelector there will be some error

At 48:19 you submit the form and it shows up in Firebase and the browser console, mine only shows up on Firebase and no form submission appears in console. Is this a problem and if so, what am I doing wrong? Great tutorial by the way, keep up the good work. Thanks in advance

how to make localhost 3000. In the first part your files were under normal folder and in the 2nd part its under localhost. Please teach this as well . i am a beginner thus i am getting it difficult. Please help me with it sir.

There is no issue. If you see the first part. All the files are under public folder. And in the start of part 2 i used npm to make a server

Hello! I also encountered this problem, but @Modern Web was obviously right. All the files are under public folder so all you have to do is create a folder named 'public' and put all your other folders and files in it (js, css, img and so on). I tried 20 times, but I did it in the end. Do not give up! We'll make it through!

I am really sorry about this. Actually they had voice before but because of music copyright issue I had to remove the voice. If this is hard to follow, I'll suggest you to make ecom website version 2. You can find that playlist on my channel.

Hello @Mordenweb, I have tried to make "init npm" in the terminal, but it gives me 12 Vulnerability (8 moderate and 4 high), I have followed the instructions but not fixed, later I have skip that part and make the Server.js- try to "start npm" but later the nodemon app crashed. (V18.16.10 node.js), Kindly suggest me.

That dollar sign was coming because i was using bash terminal. To use bash terminal make sure to install git bash on your system. After that you can make bash as a default terminal in vs code.

you have to validate email using regex expression. And you can also send OTP to the email to verify the email.

See are you getting any error in console. If so fix that. Or check the css styles and classnames they should be same as video to work
