As a teen girl this was so encouraging. its so hard to live in a society where trends are crop tops and short shorts. I am the only one I know who still wears a one piece swimsuit and have been struggling with wanting to fit in but feeling convicted at the same time. this was an encouragement to me and hopefully more girls who are also struggling like me.

Yesss! This was the first year I have tried to be modest in every aspect of my life. Summer has been hard, because family and friends don’t understand why I choose to wear one pieces with shorts since I’ve only wore bikinis in the past. It’s so hard to be modest in this world, but I’m so proudly you and every other girl that chooses the path of modesty and self preservation. You rock. God bless you!

A lot of girls my age promote dressing immodestly to go against men, but like honestly I dress modestly because it makes me comfortable knowing that I’m pleasing God and not causing men to struggle even more than they have to. Of course guys need self control but we should work together with them to the best of our ability. Also I feel like when people wear more revealing clothes, it’s to attract the attention of others even if the intent is body positivity. I’m comfortable enough in my body to not feel like I have to prove to others that I am confident in it. Also ladies keep in mind that modesty varies from woman to woman. What my sister wears might be modest on her but when I wear it it becomes immodest, so that’s another thing to keep in mind.

God had just revealed to me that the lust I had was from me not knowing my true worth and thinking I needed that attention to feel beautiful. God really just kept reminding me of how beautiful I am and that attention is really worthless because looks don’t last and lust doesn’t satisfy. Great video, I love that you talked about this because a lot of people need it.

Being modest is a beautiful thing, as a 18 year old young man, my friends(who are also in Christ) agree that there is nothing more attractive than a girl/woman who is wearing a non-sensual modest dress and/or something non-sexual, but it can really be anything that is not attention seeking like not wearing lipstick if you feel convicted to do so or not getting a certain hairdo, it may sound unromantic but there is something so pure about a woman who does not feel the need to showcase her body or who is not conformed to the way of the world but is instead changed by God’s renewal of her mind, so for any girls/woman who are modest, at just the right time a boy/man will be in your life and he will love you and encourage you, in such a way that you’ll be joyful that modesty was one of the ways that God has given you to glorify him. And the relationship will be 1000 times better if you were pure and waited for them, if you shared every bit of your intimacy with them alone. But even if you fall short, don’t be discouraged because God is a redeeming God who can use things planned for evil, for good. But this goes for guys as well, be as pure as possible making not practice of any sort of sensual or sexual immorality. But guys like my friend and I, who seek to acknowledge the Lord in all of our ways, who seek to cling to the wives of our youths and love them as we love ourselves, who have built their houses upon the rock of Christ, we are also the guys who will be patient, kind, loving, just, pure, lovely, humble, meek, and upright in all of our ways, and we will love you because Christ first loved us, we will love you because our love for you represents the love that God had for Israel and the love that Christ has for the church, and one of the reasons we would be with you would be because the first time we saw you, you were modest, you were pure. Seek after modesty in the hopes of not being a stumbling block to others(not to say that others aren’t responsible for their own actions even if there is a stumbling block) and seek after modesty to save guard your own purity. But also know that modest will attract those who have the same God-fearing mindset. So please never tire of doing good because we know that we serve a just God, who at just the right time will exalt you, and although guys like my friend and I are rare, so are girls like you, so we’ll find each other. 2 Corinthians 9:8- “And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work” Romans 8:28- “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.”

@Tha Night you’re right on the first part, and that’s why we should be modest. Adam and Eve didn’t notice they were naked until they sinned, so now we should be more modest because people have sinful minds. That doesn’t mean what happened to someone is their fault because of what they were wearing though.
@crystalo9489

@Tha Night don’t try and justify sin, You never know someone’s actions or intentions of the reason why someone dresses the way they do. I myself am struggling with dressing better, you never know about the clothes that someone wears that makes a person sin. You do know after Adam and Eve ate from the tree they became in sin. And realized they were naked , us humans are not innocent anymore, after Adam and Eve ate from the tree it was all gone. Yes God made us naked but after they ate from the tree realize sin came in.

I really appreciate this. Modesty is so much more than what people wear, it’s so much more than an amount of fabric. You can be immodest without any skin showing, you can be modest with more skin showing. And yes MODESTY IS NOT ONLY FOR GIRLS!! Thank you! Modesty is a mindset. The question you have to ask yourself is “am I glorifying God with this outfit, or is it getting in the way me glorifying God?” Not “am I showing to much skin?” Or “will people judge me for this?”

@@terrilynnb13 I have to disagree. It has nothing to do with any other person. Neither husband or wife. You shouldn’t be preserving yourself for anybody. Because you are a person and not a can of milk that needs to be preserved. You can’t go bad or rot or spoil because as long as you are alive the breath of God is still in you. So you are whole and wonderful. So the concept of preserving for, is trash. It’s just a talking point used by many pastors who talk out of their arses.

I feel like dressing more modest is something God is tugging at my heart for me to do. It’s just a little tricky when you are a plus size or very very curvy girl. Sometimes I wear things that wouldn’t be immodest but can look that way cuz of my body. I feel like I’m going to start embarking on a journey of what modesty looks like for my body type. I believe modesty looks very different depending on your gender and body type. Therefore, find what types of outfit works for you. Because I know if I do the whole loose clothes or layering clothes that would make me feel and look bulky. And normally those are the types of outfits I have seen in modest fashion videos. But just food for thought... we need more conversation of different types of ways to dress modest.

I want to share my testimony in hopes it'll help women like me. Throughout my childhood, I was invisible. I mean, almost none of my peers knew my name. Whenever I tried to say something in a group, people kept talking like they hadn't heard me, so I just stopped trying. I was labeled "the quiet one" by everyone who knew me, even my family. Once when I was about 8, I almost drowned in a pond at a BBQ, and no one even noticed. That childhood developed in me a deeply-rooted core fear of never being *seen* or *known.* Now, at 21, I'm a woman, and I "got my curves". I found I was blessed with a beautiful body; curvy hips and small waist, but I gain muscle really easily, so good muscular physique too. It was a major glow-up. All of a sudden, people noticed me -- and because of being invisible for so long, I didn't really care *why* they were noticing me, just that they were. It fed and satiated that fear of never being seen. I was raised Christian, so I've never gone full-out Kardashian-dress, skin-tight everything and miniskirts and stuff. But in the last few months, I *have* been wearing crop tops as a favorite and very flattering outfit. But God has been convicting me about it in just the last day or so, and your video helped even more! I knew deep down that I like wearing crop tops because I have a *nice* body, and I like feeling sexy and desirable, instead of invisible (especially to men; what girl isn't mortified by not even being given a single glance by *any men*?!) God has been showing me that wanting to be seen and desired are NOT BAD things... but my heart still isn't in the right place. *Your* video revealed another new thing to me: you pointed out that I'm not only causing MEN to stumble by being a tease with my clothing... I'm also making my fellow WOMEN stumble, because those who don't have the hourglass waist and abs that I do may fall into envy, which is just as bad! I had *never thought about that before.* If I wasn't convicted before, I am now. Sure, I like looking beautiful, but not at the detriment of literally *everyone* around me.

Sometimes i get approached by men but why is that a problem? Im not interested in them and just act kind and have a normal human conversation. Im not going to hide the body God gave me just because i wasnt born ugly. Like really? I think what matters most is whats in my heart, mind, and actions. I dont act provocatively but im not going to hide myself either.

@milo_thatch_incarnate 3 жыл бұрын
@Nat C well, if you're a Christian, then the reason is that just because *you* don't get lustful or envious thoughts about other people's beautiful bodies, doesn't mean that other people don't. The Bible takes causing others to stumble *very* seriously, so that's why we do too. 🙂 You may not think of showing off your body as provocative of any lustful thoughts, but if you think that, you should ask some men who will be honest with you. They are very visually-stimulated creatures, and it's really hard for them to not think any desirous thoughts when a beautiful woman shows off her body. And in the Bible we're commanded to be serious about helping our brothers (and sisters) not stumble in the purity and holiness of their thoughts. Hope this helps clear up the confusion! 🙂🤍

What you wear matters. Modesty matters. 1 Timothy 2:4 details how we should dress. Modestly and not attracting attention to yourself. Dressing I'm modestly or in expensive, elaborate hairdos draws undue attention to you. We are meant to be covered. That's in line with the Bible. Everything else is self justification, not Truth

GLORY BE TO THE MOST HIGH JESUS I AM FREE!! Now I get tempted much with lustful thoughts but what I learned personally , we have 2 lions inside of us one the flesh and one the spirit whichever you feed more will be stronger , when I am in the word and prayer and I go somewhere that's essential, and see many women dressed inappropriately I give no attention to it I have the strength, why because I have the armor of GOD ON ITS SO IMPORTANT TO SEEK THE LORD AND ASK HIM HOW TO APPLY HIS WORD IN OUR LIFE AND KNOW HOW THE ENEMY WORKS THE BIBLE SAYS MY PEOPLE PERISH FOR LACK OF KNOWLEDGE ( hosea 4:6) we need to be alert 📢 BE ENCOURAGED CONSTANTLY SUBMIT TO GOD IN PRAYER, FASTING , READING AND APPLYING GODS WORD TO YOUR LIFE!! This is going to be long, my apologies 🙏😂 I have also been a slave to pornography and only rece have I been set free, this helped me to get through it and I pray that it will help you guys as well- Sexual sin is always deceptive, it always overpromises but ends up underdelivering, it takes and takes and takes and everytime you say that you let Satan win, your own vulgar lust will end up KILLING YOU, you are sinning against yourself it is HARMING YOU, it gradually makes you kill YOU, it allows your lust to kill you spiritually and eventually physically, temptation comes from our own desires that entice you and drag you away, you need God to change those desires, the only way to be enticed is if there is a seed of that already in you, there is always a root, pornography is rooted in some unhealed pain, ask God to help you understand that unhealed pain, get LIVING WATER, God will fill you up but He can't if you aren't living in truth, what pornography leads to is more dangerous than pornography, it leads to perversion and it is the gateway to you living a PERVERTED AND TWISTED LIFE, the path may seem right but ultimately it will lead to DEATH!! When you see pornography you give yourself a pre-vision from a pervert, then you give the enemy PERMISSION to plant sexual immoral thoughts and images into you head, God wants you to Choose LIFE because He gave you the answer to the test already all you have to do is choose the correct answer, which is LIFE! When you look at pornography then you give it provision, you made time for it, you start to devote yourself to pornography, learn to clothe yourself with Jesus and make NO PROVISION FOR SEXUAL IMMORALITY, remember that FLESH IS NEVER SATISFIED!!!! When you open the door to perversion then everything is fair game, Romans 1:25-35, God will abandon you to your sin if you refuse to listen and choose another path, when there is no vision the people PERISH but blessed is the one who keeps the instructions of the Lord, see YOURSELF AS PURE, I SEE MYSELF AS PURE, I WILL BE PORN FREE THIS YEAR, THIS MONTH, THIS WEEK, THIS DAY, THIS HOUR, THIS MINUTE, THIS SECOND, BIND THE THOUGHTS AND IMAGES THAT ARE NOT OF GOD, THIS WON'T BE EASY, YOU WALKED INTO IT SO NOW YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO WALK OUT OF IT, ( read this everyday) Amen

I’ve been actively trying to stop looking at women, but the way they dress does actually make it difficult. My aim is self control, cause we can’t control other people or what they do. I’m pretty close to being totally free of having to look! Working on being okay with not being looked at by others lustfully, it was my main source of attention and “love” before Christ showed me real love. Thanks for the video!

I want to encourage you in this. I am a 29yo woman married to a man who is 2 years clean from a 15 year porn addiction. Praise God, He changes people and renews minds if that is your desire. It can be such a struggle. I see my husband struggle every day, and other people just do not make it easy. But the Bible says this life is NOT easy, and I think we all have our "thorn in the side" or "cross to bear." For some it is lost, for other drugs, and still for others it is greed or pride. Anyways, I am passionate about men getting out of sexual sin and trying to live a pure life. Men walking with God and seeking His will changes things like marriages and Dads' impact on their kids' lives and friendships/Discipleship. Keep it up, and pray for the renewing of your mind. In Christ.

i believe in "dress based on occasion" cuz we certainly cannot demand a person living in place with the highest temperature and tell them to cover themselves with sleeves or jacket. Same way as, if u swim with ur clothes (pants and shirt) cuz u will definitely look inappropriate, same way as dressing low skirts in a church where ure supposed to be formal. ykwim?? and immodest is not in wearing jewelries or looking rich or standing out. There's some people even if they wear just enough, bc of their presence they stand out. One more thing, even God wants us to look nice. Remember the book of Matthews, Jesus talked about how beautiful lilies are that not even solomon can look that glorious, how much more does God wants to clothe us better than lilies?? and even in heaven they wear gold and breastplates and definitely jewelries. But some religious will look at u as "not being humble" just bc u look good and its insane how Christians demonized most of the things these days.

Have you noticed how people in the desert dress? They cannot be shirtless or even sleeveless because they will burn and/or become dehydrated quickly. I believe that professed Christians judge...A LOT! The "church" isn't a social club, but an evangelical training facility. I saw a Muslim woman wearing a hijab made from swimsuit material and I thought it was such an honorable thing to wear, and an honorable action as well. It just goes to show that the things we think are valuable (or we aren't really living if we don't wear them) is a distraction from the fact that life is temporary. Who are we really trying to impress? And who are we honoring? Modesty definitely begins in the heart. 🙏🏼

@Jenny Rlly Amen Sister! As a girl who absolutely loves fashion and almost thought about being a fashion designer there is no way being dressed to the nines and cute is immodest. Modesty, is everything the guy in this video has mentioned. But everyone needs to remember “Modesty is not black and white.” Modesty is a heart’s condition and a will to behave like a Princess of God and not flaunt yourself but care for others. To live and forgive, as Christ has forgiven you. But has everyone forgotten Proverbs 31? I think everyone should read that again. The woman is not plain, spiritually, emotionally, or outwardly. She makes clothes for the rich and wears purple herself. Meaning she dresses nicely. But her “dress” does not exceed her character. The color and beautiful clothes are a symbol of what she is. It is God’s gift to her. There is nothing wrong with being beautiful, and making oneself up. There is everything wrong with thinking you must show off your body because that is all you have and that is all men care about. But everyone interprets scripture differently, and I believe everyone has it in there heart to do the right thing. We are all God’s children. But I don’t want anyone to think we have to give up playing with fashion to be modest. It is fun, exciting and being in a beautiful outfit can make my day. God finds joy in the art his children make ( I think ) would a father hate the painting his child gives him? Don’t they hang it on there office wall and tell there friends and coworkers how proud they are? Well fashion is artwork. It is a poor self image, which causes lack of self esteem so one might dress themselves like a piece of meat instead of creating something lovely. Just remember this: God looks on the heart, men look on the outward appearance. But this goes both ways, does it not? Tell me, if one woman or even a man, dressed in all their jewelry and purples robes helped someone in need while another much more “modest” person passed by, who do you think God is more pleased with? Now I’m not saying you should go around looking sleazy and hanging everything out. But with dignity and a good heart, if you have a care for it, do present yourself as you how you are in your heart. A royal princess clothes in purple, and a true princess knows it is not the clothes that make her a Princess. But because it is her right, she dresses in fine clothes.

This was really helpful because I am a young singer who performs at a lot of different places, and one Element of performing is picking out an outfit. I’ve always struggled with this, because I’m blind, therefore I have to have visual aid when picking out clothing. When I tell people that I want to dress modestly fore a performance, they laugh at me, But this video has made me realize the importance of standing firm in what Scripture says about modesty. My body is a temple, and I want to represent the Lord and everything I do, that includes how I appear on the outside. I wonder if their viewpoint would change if I started talking about scripture when they pressure me into wearing revealing clothing.

As a Gen Z female I also think it’s important to know what you’re comfortable with. You can be modest and comfortable in shorts and a tank top and modest and comfortable in jeans and a sweater. It’s all based on your own personal feelings and convictions. ( i live in Florida so half the time I do leave when it’s not the few weeks out of the year when it’s under 80 I’m in shorts and a t shirt.) I also think it’s important to remember modesty is not just what you wear but how you act and behave as well as your thoughts and soul. Not just oh I can’t wear a tank top but it’s not modest but wear what you wear so that you’re pleasing God and not the world of other Christians to judge you. At great example would be the Duggars. The were told that the girls had to wear long skirts and have long hair so they wouldn’t distract the man, and the men had to look away when they passed a woman in less modest clothing ( to their standards). They weren’t taught to control their thoughts and desires because even with all the modest arrangements Josh ( the eldest son) still SA several of his siblings, a babysitter, cheated on his wife, had a porn addiction as well as his recent charges which are so horrible I don’t want to get into. All while representing Christians and family values.
@jordanwright2030
@jordanwright2030 3 жыл бұрын
They didn't dress that way and have long hair because of modesty, it was because that's what the Bible says is pleasing to God. There are scriptures for both of those convictions. Josh's behavior is not because of being taught the wrong way, it was because of that sin came into his life and he kept choosing to allow that to speak into his life.

Wow, I really appreciate this point of view! My mom raised me to be very modest but since her passing I've definitely gone through phases where I wasn't as modest. Looking back, I realized the times when I dressed the least modestly were the times when I felt the most insecure. It's like you said, that's just showing the world that's all we have to offer and that is scarily accurate of my mindset during my more immodest seasons, during which I was not only insecure about my body, but about my gifts, talents, and skills.

This is so powerful. When I was younger I was bullied for not being as pretty as other girls. My friends (at the time) always complemented my curvy body and told me I’ll be more attractive if I wore more ‘fitting’ clothes. I started doing that but I later realised that wearing immodest clothing was not making me more attractive, at least not to the right people. I started my modesty journey this year and I’ve never felt more free, comfortable and I’ve developed more self respect.

Omg God is so good haha! Recently, I've been taking better care of my body and with that comes physical appearance alterations (such as a bit of weight loss). I'm feeling more confident and I'm grateful God has helped me along the way, however, I've been questioning if I should wear crop tops and all that jazz. I never have before and although I could now, I'm choosing not to. Before this small bit of weight loss, I knew I wanted to dress modestly (also to hide my body), but now, I want to dress modestly to respect both God and my future husband. I'm glad this was the very first video in my recommended. God always comes through, even in the little things like this. Thank you, God! And thank you, Alex. The messages you have to say are empowering and I love that they're backed up by scripture. Have an awesome day! I’m a teenage boy and I did actually need to see this. I recently got out of p0rn addiction so sometimes when I see how certain girls and women are dressed or I see certain images online I can get “flashbacks” to past p0rn sessions. It can be pretty tough not to stumble and fantasize or objectify people, and for a while I’ve been internally getting mad at women who dress or act a certain way. I get angry because they make me fear that I’ll fall back into p0rn. Obviously, some women are actually immodest and ungodly, but others are perfectly fine and I was blaming them for no reason. Before I saw this video, I thought that lust could only be cause entirely by me or entirely by the person being lusted after. I think this helped me see a middle ground between the two. So this video really helped me sort out my thoughts on modesty and lust and all that, so thanks and God bless.

This is one of my favourite channels to follow! I've learned so much and still am learning. I'm so thankful to God that we have such platforms to connect with people virtually and be blessed by them and also be a blessing to them, even if you're from a totally different part of the world. Thank you Alex for your ministry, it's truly a blessing. I love the way you speak so openly and humbly and just as a friend. Your conversations are always seasoned with salt and full of grace! I love your whole family, even though I don't know you so well and I'll be praying for you. May many more people who hunger & thirst for righteousness, to be filled with the knowledge of the truth, be blessed by your ministry! Amen.

Sometimes, no matter how modestly you dress, men still lust...I used to shop in the boys section, and still got harrassed...I was 36-25-36, which...I hid so much...that when saw me in a dress, they gasped...some thought..I was fat and covering it up...

Very true and that shouldn't be the intent for being modest. It think if we took all the unrighteous embellishment and flipped the narrative, females will be able to understand and appreciate it more. I like to think of it as this I am attracted to muscular men, now if I was minding my business and out of nowhere I see a shirtless muscular guy 7/10 I am probably going to be tempted to lust and sometimes I may fall to it. However, I am trying and have been trying to have a pure view of guys, read scriptures to combat it, get advice, the whole works but lust is just a thorn in my side. I would hope that if a guy knows this struggle of mine, would have compassion on me and avoid clothes that would reveal him like that. Now it is still my responsibility to combat the mindset that has fueled this temptation but the efforts of the guy would help me fight and I should be very appreciative and remember that the sin is my fault.

I'm a former sex worker. Lately I've been feeling shameful of my past. I recently deleted all the photos on my social media that is inappropriate. It wasn't so much about myself it was I literally didn't want do seduce or influence or cast immoral thoughts on another person's mind. I'm changing the way I dress and carry myself. I really needed to hear this

Yes! I completely agree and my friend and I were talking about this the other day. One thing I really like that you said was that “We are not completely constricted to older cultures and what they wear, we are allowed to express ourselves but in a way that is healthy and humble” I grew up thinking that I had to dress more leaning to the older culture because my mom was very hard on us growing up with what we wore to church and our everyday lives sometimes. recently she has been showing me that I don’t need to be supper strick and that I don’t not need to dress like a little kid either but that I can dress nicely and more like my age but that I can’t be too revealing and to be mindful of what I wear, which is what she was been teaching me for almost 20 years now. I really related to that statement. Thanks for sharing with us

He never said you have to judge other people. You could spread the word of the lord and lead people to the right path without judging them. Because it’s understandable why people live the way they do these days. It’s hard to live righteously when the world your surround by isn’t. With no example in life for what is good in a world surround by evil, u will know nothing but evil.

yeah this video is literally judging people who dress immodest. In the frist few seconds of the video he says that people who dress immodest are arrogant, prideful and self deprecating which is just not true. I hate that most christians make these assumptions about atheists and other people solely from the bible instead of getting to know the person or maybe ASKING the person. Instead, they'll assign all these character traits to people they don't even know only because their book describes them that way. You can be humble and not self deprecating AND dress immodest. It's NOT about wanting attention or other people to lust after you. This way of thinking is just ignorant and dangerous. It's literally the same logic all these victim blamers use when they say "a woman who dressed immodest wanted the attention in the first place, she WANTED to get lusted after, now she shouldn't be surprised that she got harassed". Like no, women. don't. dress. immodest. because. of. attention. Just leave women alone ffs. And it's so stupid to say that a woman who dresses immodest has nothing else to offer. Like bruh, I'm not the one reducing myself to my body, YOU ARE and the people who say that are. I HAVE a whole lot more to offer, it's ignorant of people to assume that people dress immodest cause they have no personality....There's so much more wrong about this video that I could point out but that was just a brief summary. I truly think this man isn't a bad person and that he's full of love but that is just brainwashing...

I felt the spirit of God in my presence throughout the video so you did excellent🙏🏽. I love fashion if I have to be honest and I’ve never been the type of person to want to show off anything that appeals sexually. But I do love making outfits and getting noticed by how well I make the outfit. I don’t really think that’s a modest thing but it’s definitely prideful. This video taught me a lot. Being modest has never really been a problem for me, but what do I say to people around me who aren’t very modest with their appearance?

It’s telling too that modesty in the Bible doesn’t really talk about women’s clothes. Women’s clothes are mentioned in the Bible in reference to showing off your wealth or position in life, not your sexuality. Modesty is presented as a position of the heart that is in tune with God. Modesty is the calling of all people who love God and who are ambassadors of Christ. It has everything to do with how you present yourself in your mannerisms, attitude, clothes, speech, jokes, etc etc etc. And there is nothing in the Bible depicting what modest clothing looks like, which makes sense, modesty is a position of your heart. Where your heart is with God will guide all aspects of your life (including the way you dress) and it’s something so personal that it doesn’t leave room for the judgement of others. God knows your heart position because He knows you, so you can’t let what others think about your clothes be your guide. Likewise, you cannot use what others wear to determine their relationship with God. To judge/take accountability for your own presentation is your responsibility as a Christian. But to judge or demand accountability for the presentation of others is outside of what God wants us to do (like when we decide what modesty is for someone else. Ex: shirt is too tight) It’s just so freeing to know that modesty is not a set a rules that we use to beat down each other with. It’s personal, a decision made between you and God that reflects your relationship with Him. It’s not able to be judged because no one else is a part of that decision.

The Bible does talk about the sexual aspect of dressing. Paul warns Christians, specifically Christian women that whoever professes godliness (obedience to the Lord, Christian) than they must avoid wearing the leather that the harlots wear. It wasn't the leather that was bad, he was talking about shrunken leather. It was the tightness of the leather that was wicked. It was designed to show off the curves. So Paul wasn't condemning leather, he was condemning clothes that are tight on the skin. Such as but not limited to, Yoga pants, skinny jeans, and shirts such as crop tops and tube tops. The Bible also says, "Woe unto stumbling blocks."
