I'm not a professional with cars but I do enjoy them and I also has respect for this guy and his car. Rich guys who had rich parents have no idea what it feels like to get a car that was in a certain price range. All they do is cry to daddy and daddy goes out and buys them a corvette which lasts a week then they go cry to daddy again and daddy puts it in the shop because daddy also has no fuckin idea how to work on cars. I'll never forget my 1997 Honda Accord v6. I absolutely loved that car.

Your opinion can be ill-informed, however. The newer V6 mustangs are as fast or faster than the outgoing 4.6L V8 GT, has far more creature comforts than the old models, looks more modern and has wider tires stock, plus the 3.7L v6 makes good power when modded and can even handle turbocharging completely stock.

BagelBytes okay but I wasn't talking about any of that, I was ONLY talking about how it sounds, and my opinion, is that the new V6 mustangs sound like garbage.

BagelBytes if you want to get into those things I can, you're 100% wrong about the tires, the 3.7 V6's come with 235mm wide tires stock, Ford did not put 235's on a V8 mustang, the 4.6's can handle a turbo with stock internals, the interiors look he exact same except for a few knobs being different, the V8 has much more aftermarket mods for the engine and makes power a lot easier. Seems like you're opinion is a hell of a lot more ill-informed than mine.

SkittleZ, what's wrong with a V6 Mustang? I have a '14 V6 and it will walk all over a stock 4.6 2v or 3v GT. The new 3.7s are light years ahead of the 4.0 in this Mustang; it was based off of an engine design from the '60s. The engine was first used in 1965 and carried all the way to 2010. To make it OHC they shoved a jack shaft in the block and ran the cams from the back of the cylinder head. Yes V6 Mustangs used to be a joke, but not anymore. The new Cyclone 6 is a clean sheet redesign it makes 310 hp stock.

My 2007 v6 is just a lot of fun. I'm an old dude who dug mustangs as a kid. I have a lot of interests and didn't want to spend a lot on a fun car. I tried a v6 an loved it. It's about as fast as the 1965 289 which is what I wanted in the first place. Black on black, Leather, small fogs, exhaust sounds sweet stock, excellent shaker 500 stereo stock, small spoiler, no scoops, no stripes, no louvers. A clean looking beauty. Mileage does suck - not that I care ;)

I think the 4.0 has decent power I love the 05-09 v6s. The v6 I really don’t like is the 3.8 in the new edge. But if you put 3.73s and the American muscle power pack on the 05-09 v6 it’s a pretty peppy street car

GotPoop WeScoop they sound a little better, but the guy with the 2013 V6 mustang at my high school decided to get a muffler delete and it sounds like absolute garbage, so much rasp and it sounds so unrefined and shitty. It sounds like if you cut the muffler off of a tractor.
