sure is, when you're on your p plates (restricted license) where i am you cant drive a wrx. so a forester is the next best option to get if you want a turbo subaru

the stock resonators realllly muffle that sound down. so id say keep the sti muffler. then that mid resonator get it cut out and a 6' or 12 hotdog put it. will bring out more rumble without it getting raspy

yeh, not a fan of lowered sti's, even more confusing when you slam a forester but i think alot of them bought them on their p plates and here you can't drive a wrx on them. so the next best thing is a forester. id keep it stock height, roof racks, light bar. get some mudding tyres on it and hit the bush

yeah thats the thing hey, the dual range ones were all non turbo, all the turbo ones got what is pretty much the wrx 5 speed. which is horrible for trying to do any "tough" off roading thats not a flat surface

depends what you want to do man. if you plan on going off roading, sand/mud all that. go the non turbo because they got the dual range gearbox. turbo models dont have that. if you're just wanting a practical suv kinda thing do sounds alright, good aftermarket support and ok power. xt for sure

@@sebsshenanigans I fitted a 25mm body lift to my SG9 XT Auto, 16 inch Steel rims from the normally aspirated Forester, higher profile Geolander AT tyres, cotton canvas seat covers, Aluminium sump and diff bash plates, and Thule racks and roof box. It goes just about anywhere - don‘t need dual range with an auto. Also removed the cats - it has a 3 inch free flow exhaust with the standard rear box so it’s quiet and had a custom tune.

Never been a car guy but my customers keep asking me why I am going to put 8 to 10 thousand bucks buying a new engine and accoutrements for it. Because fully loaded I beat everything off the start line, I mean I reach 60kmh before their back wheels have stopped spinning. If anyone has any ideas on what I should do please let me know. Plan is to put an sti half closed deck, if that's the correct term, new headers and cat back exhaust and upgrade intercooler and maybe a bigger turbo in the future. It has done 300k km.

oh dude, honestly if you got some crazy weather and not sure if you want a car that big. just get an impreza. like 06 07. and they're pretty easy to learn in as well as long as they don't have a heavy duty clutch.
