In this video we begin modifying our 2021 Suzuki Jimny LCV "Commercial" (two-seater) model. We show you a selection of essential interior upgrades to improve practicality and storage, along with a few simple and straightforward exterior modifications.

The front bumper and grill excepted, all are upgrades that are so useful that they cannot be omitted. Though I would add the center console storage tray as an essential.

Hi, what happened with the solution for rear seats for LCV version...?....is it possible to install seats and harness without huge changes ?

The seats will physically fit bar two holes that don't have a captive nut on the other side of them, so we have been investigating alternative brackets and designs. The seat belts can also be installed but there will be some complications with wiring for the pre-tensioners etc. The other hurdle is cost! The cost of the seats and seat belts alone from Suzuki is extremely prohibitive, and that's not including the additional parts required to get them to fit, nor the time involved. We're hoping we can figure out a suitable solution soon

What models can the lights be installed onto? I'm waiting on a Jimny GLX 2022 auto (Australia) and want to know if I can change out the front and side indicators with the stuff off your site?? Very new to car stuff haha thanks!!!!

Thanks for the message! Both the items you have listed (Front Indicators, Side Markers) are compatible with all specifications of 2018+ Jimny models. I hope that helps!

Nice video! I have similar tail lights that are causing the error message you described, is there only one resistor or do you put one on each tail light? Cheers.

We can't say for sure regarding other brands of Tail Lights, but for our LED units it is just 1x resistor that is required on the reverse light

Your connector for resistor is probably not piercing one of the wires properly. From vid it looks like they use a pin to pierce the wire and contact copper wire core???

Are those electrical resistors waterproof? Can i still go through flooded roads safely?

Yes, no problem at all! Although, if you're thinking about the resistors on the LED Front Indicators, we wouldn't advise driving through water that deep or you'll have more serious things to worry about!

Why the washers with the indicators? Mine came without them and I installed without issues.

It depends which front grille you are using. The OEM grille has deep enough holes to accept the OEM screws, so the washers aren't required when fitting the LED Front Indicators. However, on some aftermarket grilles, the holes aren't as deep due to the design, so washers are required.

Is it possible to change the halogen headlights for leds? I haven’t seen it for sale

There are aftermarket LED headlights that can be installed, but typically they aren't great and might not be legal in your country. The OEM LED headlights physically fit, but the wiring connectors are completely different and, to remain legal, you also need to install the headlight washer system and automatic self-levelling system from an SZ5 model. A quicker and easier alternative is fitting high quality LED bulbs into the original headlights.

It was my first time in a Jimny. Unfortunately much too small for a 2m person. Is there an alternative for people 200cm long? Preferably so that you can also sleep in it for 1-2 nights? No, please no G-Class, Defender or RangeRover. Far too expensive for me...
