In the first part of the video, the angular aceleration of de cilinder shoud't be w1x(w1+w2) taking in account that the absolut angular velocity of the cilinder is w1+w2??

Wow, it's a masterpiece! I like the way he introduced the tensor concept. At vid time approx. 36 min, shouldn't it be single integral, not triple?
@kiranadhikari41927 жыл бұрын
It's an integral in x,y and z. so should be triple
@syedmostaqueali65486 жыл бұрын
dm is a function of all x,y,z so three integrals are needed ! i.e. dm = ρdxdydz for uniform body.

what is the physical meaning of omega x A .. around 7mins
@craigdupree16877 жыл бұрын
That's a term which takes into effect the rotation of the coordinate system attached to the rotating body. He is saying that when both observers are watching a vector which changes, what they measure as the rate of change is the same once you add in the effect of the rotating reference frame.

This is idea is also where you get things like the Coriolis Force.

It seems if he holds the chalk stationary momentarily after drawing a line, the line perfectly straight. Just like my Apple pencil does on Procreate.
