Christo! This was the different perspective I needed. I've been an academy member of GGA for 3 years, and nothing they say is incorrect, but this analysis and your video about Hogan's trail hand grip have slapped me in the face with what I needed. Please don't tell Todd. Actually, if I get really good you should because it could only help them. I'll let you know ;)

Another great video Christo. Over the top is ok as long as the clubhead is travelling along the target line at impact.

The head bobbing up and down i think is a great way to swing. Hard to sway if your first move is a little bit up, plus it makes it much easier to squat and use the ground properly. Great way to have good rhythm and timing as well

Padraig Harrington has a video on his channel that I found helpful where he talks about an “up down up” feel to the swing to avoid topping the ball. Moe definitely does that move as well, super powerful

Moe videos show two different swings, one was the "Natural Golf" palm grip, face the ball at impact, the other was Moe's normal swing (like Graves Golf Teaches) anyone watching the Over the top swing better understand you still come into the ball from the inside, it is easy to be TOO over the top and come into the ball from the outside which is the common among new golfers and big time slicers.

I used to swing super consistently over the top when I was a newer golfer. Then I started increasing my golf IQ and learned I was “wrong,” and began trying to “fix” my swing. I’ve never been as consistent as I used to be again.

If you were to put that "dot" on his sacrum (base of the spine) you would see that like most good ball strikers, there is an initial slight movement forward and then a re-centring until impact after which the "cleared" hips move toward the tardet during release and follow-through. Just part of the rotary aspect of a good, centred, swing path.

Exactly. We have confused terms in golf. Bad golfers go OTT and OUT to IN. Many great golfers go OTT and on plane.

Watching Norman's driver swing... one thing is apparent. His lead knee is bent at impact... who else did this and was considered the most accurate of his day? Byron Nelson!!! Everyone today wants to straighten and "snap" the lead leg on the downswing. So my question to you is this.... what role does keeping the lead leg bent during impact and maybe even moving beyond the foot, play in keeping the club on line and producing "straight" shots? Should we stop straightening and snapping the lead knee and keep that knee bent?

I'm watching another channel... and he's showing some top pros at impact. Rory has a bent knee at impact and to me the greatest bent knee swing of all time is Byron Nelson.... So the other day I was there just a "straightening and a snapping that left knee" and I started topping the ball!!! Uggh! When I concentrated on keeping the front knee bent I was making way better contact. @@MiracleSwingExperience

You call it over the top but it shouldn't be confused with the OTT that involves early extension and raising the handle. The latter being the OTT that causes people so much grief with their swing.

Jac 4338 is misinformed Hogan's handle path on the downswing is slightly outside the handle path of the backswing, had to be with a swing that flat, any dropping would be disaster

I think Moe's has to have a forward lateral shift because he sets up way behind the ball.

Literally NOTHING over the top in Moe's swing lol. If anything, he's just the opposite. He clearly drops it under. Same with Hogan. He wasn't over the top either.

Yeah Christo, I really enjoyed how your channel started but it has gotten quite gimmicky. You’re swing has become silky though. Great job on your swing evolution. You should look into doing collaborations with other KZfaq golfers. Teaching … not so much.
