Let me rewrite the plot: They've been secretly together for a year because Tabitha didn't want anyone to know she was a lesbian and after a year in the relationship Moe gets tired of being a secret, so talk to Tabi and tell her that if she wanted her relationship continued she had to say around that she was with a girl.
Tabitha doesn't say anything, so Moe leaves her.
After a few months Tabitha finds a boyfriend even though she isn't in love with him, she stays there for a long time, only to forget Moe.
It takes a while for the girls to find each other again, but this time they are forced to just be friends because they were both in another relationship. But only they know that they are not just friends.
