My dear Ghanaian brothers & sisters, I concur that the young lady has disgraced us Africans on an international platform, however, please cool your heads & quit the emotional & reactionary display - instead put on your analytical & critical hats on 4 a second & consider the following: 1. How are young women mostly portrayed getting their money in Nollywood & Gollywood movies? 2. What do most African entertainers showcase in their songs & music videos - is it not irresponsible sex, superficiality, materialism & consumerism? 3. Does financial literacy & education feature prominently in any of our educational & media institutions? 4. Does the lack of robust & fair economical infrastructure not hinder money making opportunities 4 the vast majority, thus, reinforcing poverty, lack & desperation? In conclusion, she is a product of the society she lives in. Mind you, there are a lot of very intelligent & hard working African sisters getting their money independently & wisely but they are the Exception rather than the Rule. So instead of condemning & complaining why don't local celebrities & media personalities educate instead?
