Nice overview. I enjoy the way Nick designs these. Super easy to install and you get to set them up the way you want. I’ll be picking up some more of these options soon.

Damn those island style brass supper DDPs have some serious weight! Imagine rocking the brass front with aluminum rear?

Exactly. Or the wide brass ring with the aluminum 4mm spacer. So many ways to tweak the weight from front to back now with these options all in brass or aluminum.

Hopefully Nick will offer a mega kit for tuning and testing purposes. I would gladly pay for an expansive kit if it was offered. I don't know where to even start

Nick has it set up so you can put together whatever mega kit you desire. The UPW’s might be my favorite wheel out right now, so many options for tuning/style

Any thoughts on whether using the island style wide wheels helps stiffen/lessen the side wall flex due to pushing the beads apart further? Be interesting to see a few different of the most popular tires mounted and given a side ways push test to see if it does effect the side wall flex. Be cool just to see how they look mounted on the island style too. Mud Sling's, Patagonia's, Crawler's, Mud Terrain's, etc.

I think it softens the sidewall by stretching. Would depend on your foams, but with a full Lil Nova foam, it gives more room for it. I think you get more sidewall contact patch/use though with the spacers.

Any idea if those brass rings or hub/spacers fit any other brand rims? Like if you have some color anodized Treals, Injora's or RCLions? Thanks!

I don’t believe they do. Nicks wheels use larger m1.5 for the hubs.
