The empty chests were actually added for inventory management. Basically just a spot to dump junk. It's not communicated in game tho.

I have a suggestion, you could make a museum that hosts every obtainable block

seeing Mog react to things they previously weren't able to obtain in superflat makes me unreasonably happy. People who play on normal generation are just normalized to things because they have access to everything. It really harkens back to when we first played Minecraft. The joy and fantasy we all experienced exploring a new world really fizzles out the more you play. it reminds me of one of my earliest memories playing Minecraft. It was with my bother. The textures were gross, there was the old villages, cats and ocelots were still the same thing, and we were spawning in blazes in creative mode to destroy a preloaded castle map. I was having so much fun scrolling through all the items in the creative menu and pulling something random out to see what it was or what it did. Thank you Mog for making me feel that curiosity again through your joy playing Minecraft.

I would like to note that all the copper blocks are easily craftable with regular copper (even the bulbs, which use blaze rods), so they are also still craftable in superflat even if you don't have any Trial Chambers.

I've said this before but truly your videos are just a joy to watch. You're effectively telling a story with the way you edit and narrate and set up shots. Like I stepped away from Minecraft for a while and only recently heard about the new update, but you seemed to have covered most if not all of the new content in this update in a highly enjoyable and easy-to-follow video. Kudos to you, my man, I'm so glad I discovered your channel years ago. It's been nothing but great stuff!

The empty chests are intentional, they're meant to help with inventory management. You're supposed to dump loot and other random blocks in them for safe keeping while you complete the trials.

"Who needs a zoom mod when you have the frigging spyglass!?" A) Even further zoom utilizing both the mod and spyglass B) One less thing to carry around

don’t forget to put slabs under the glass blocks keeping your snow golem safe, because baby zombies could very easily kill them

Mogswamps the only minecraft youtuber i don't ger bored of. Seeing I DID CRAZY HARD THING IN MY HARDCORE WORLD gets old after awhile. Hardcore feels so bland for content since it's still normal minecraft you just can't die, but in those vids the "can't die" thing feels nonexistent cause once they get past the enderdragon it feels like that risk vanishes. But these feel different because the challange NEVER goes away. It feels like superlfat all throughout which makes you shocked when it doesn't look like superflat. I love these.

You can get all the biomes in Superflat. When you generate the world click Presets and just delete the portion that says "minecraft:plains".

u can make a snowy mountain area with the snow golems just let them walk around the mountain and place the snow naturally

Cant wait to play this on FlatNet! You made it look so fun to play on getting the all new items like the Mace. Stuff like the Trident and Building blocks are really cool to get through superflat finally.

Regarding superflat worlds and slime spawning. It is possible to customize the world such that the surface is above Y=64 and thus avoid having all those slimes spawning constantly. Also this gives for a lot more underground realestate for building and for certain underground structures to generate better.

I am very offended by a certain bug in this update.
