Just imagine this video is seen by 3 lakh students. Students from different engineering branches as well, who would compete in IT. AI is taking up jobs and still the competition is immense. 3 lakh engineers fighting and competing for just a few 30-40 positions is not a healthy competition, it is INSANE. Even being best of the best is not enough in the competitive IT industry. This is depressing.

Don’t you think, you are losing a potential great candidate just because candidate resume is not properly formatted which can ease your filtration criteria? Just because resume needs more effort for screening it is being rejected. If you need a standout resume, it is better to put the web form where your required information will be filled by candidate. It will be easier to investigate required skills vs skills mentioned in resume. Just some resume formats is not giving you ease or comfort , a candidate is being classified as not shortlisted.
@seemonjena6597 ай бұрын
So agree with this! For freshers there's a different style of resume which recruiters look out for (they give emphasis to the courses the candidate has done and the internships one has bagged). The same is not true for jobs where prior experience counts! It would be a boon if multinational companies like Google, Microsoft... post a set template for resume so that job seekers don't have to worry about what information they need to provide. A candidate will simply provide the information he is asked to provide.

The video underscores a prevailing trend: major IT giants, often founded by non-graduates, tend to favor those with financial advantages or early guidance. The challenge arises in a nation of 1.4 billion, where opportunities seem limited. In this fiercely competitive environment, hardworking individuals may struggle to showcase their skills, succumbing to demotivation. The pervasive nepotism, evident in preferential treatment for those from prestigious institutions or privileged backgrounds, perpetuates inequality. The harsh reality is that many individuals are handed nothing but a piece of paper and a lifetime of struggle. The video, perhaps motivated by profit through advertisements, emphasizes the significance of influential names over merit, leaving those without such connections disillusioned in their pursuit of a fair and healthy competition.

Hii I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to express my sincere appreciation for the recent episode of "Talk with Google Recruiter" where you discussed topics such as resumes, Tier 3 positions, CGPA, and career gaps. Your insights were not only enlightening but incredibly helpful for someone like me navigating the professional landscape. The detailed discussion on crafting an effective resume and addressing career gaps provided practical tips that I can implement in my own journey. I particularly enjoyed the thoughtful exploration of Tier 3 and how they contribute to career growth. Your conversation with the Google recruiter shed light on aspects that are often unclear for job seekers, and I feel more confident and informed after listening to your podcast. Thank you for creating content that is not only relevant but also delivered in a way that's easy to understand and apply. Your efforts in providing valuable information do not go unnoticed, and I'm sure many listeners, including myself, have benefited tremendously from your podcast. Looking forward to more insightful episodes in the future. Keep up the fantastic work! Best regards

So i want to add something for those who has some doubt ,its been 3 years I am working as a US IT Recruiter. Degree actually didn't matter previously but nowadays after lockdown for IT Recruiter if you are fresher so you have be from IT backgroud this is mandatory in startup companies also. And if want to start in IT field like DATA, developer, engineer or tester so you can start with some courses but jobs are less for fresher and interns. I must say and she has so much knowledge.

Hello, I am Aayush. I completed my all interviews for the upcoming summer intern @Google. After that my recruiter asked me for my latest transcript and I have submitted it. It is now 50 days since I submitted it. In this period, I asked my recruiter about my status, but every time she said that she had no updates. Is it normal to not give you the feedback for 50 days? One of my friends also having the same situation.
